Being unprepared
I shall never forget the first time I got bad marks when I was in grade 11. A day before the geography’s test, I attend my friend’s birthday party. I had a lot of fun at the party and I came back home so late. After having a warm bath, I was tired and felt too sleepy. I still remembered my geography’s test but I could not open my eyes to learn. I promised to myself that I would learn it early in the morning before going to school. But I could not image I wake up too late to study.
I went to school in a hurry. When taking the test, I felt butterflies, shaky and my heart beating quicky. I had 45 minutes to complete the test, but I did not know how can I do it. My mind was empty, I could not remember any words. My friends concentrated on their task, they looked so satisfied with test questions. Geography was my favorite subject, I had done so well on the last one, I thought I was subjective when I did not prepar its test. After a week, I received my exam result. It was the first time I got 1 mark. I cried and regreted being unprepared for the test.
I had an unforgettable lesson. Since then, I have never been unprepared for my test.

A great day
Life is full of happy days and sad days, the latter being more common on life. A great day is that day when everything seem to go well with on life and on loved ones, though these great days are also different from each other due to the degree of happiness they impart.
I shall never forget the great day of my life was the day I passed the National examination. It was on the 12th of August, 2010 I remember. I had been counting days very anxiously for the day when the result of my National examination was announced. At last the day came. My fate was to be decided on this day. The examination result had already been announced on the Internet. I wanted know my marks, but my computer was not connected Internet. My father came home at 11 AM and informed my result, I became a student at QN university.

The next instance was the next year in Physics class, with the same teacher. I was in the same group as the year before, minus the hitchhiker. The problem this time was actually me. I did not understand much of the material we were working on, so when we met for group work outside of class, I found myself being a couch potato. This was very bad for me, because despite going to group meetings, I learned nothing. In turn, by the time our first couple of tests came I was clueless, and I failed miserably. After my first couple of tests, I realized I could not do that or I might even not graduate. Basically I was going nowhere very fast, and I started asking my group and teacher to help me learn the material. After that, I started putting in the effort and somehow managed to finish the class with a B.…

Opening my eyes, I was greeted by the bright, shiny sun peeking through the curtains. Getting up I noticed my calendar overfilled with Post-it notes, but there was a bright tomato, red color one, it was something important written as, “SAT Today”. My brain shifted into gears, I quickly sprang out of bed and dashed to my trusty backpack, rambling through past-due…

Mrs Peters announces, “You have fifteen minutes to study. As soon as the timer goes off I will hand out the test and talking will not be permitted or it will be an automatic office referral and a 0% on the test.” I begin to panic because I realize that as soon I look in my folder for my notes to study over, I realize that I left them on my kitchen counter. This makes me feel even worse about the situation. Now, I was sure that I wouldn't be able to do well on the test. I think at least I didn’t forget my calculator. I wait until the timer goes off. Mrs. Peters begins to hand out the tests and I start to dread how well I will do. I then am handed my test. I look through the test and recognize some problems that I know how to do. I read through the test and begin to work out and evaluate problems. I am beginning to get distracted by the quietness of the classroom and listening to the tapping, the clicking of the clock, and cough or sneeze every now and then. After I begin to get off topic I always remind myself to get back to work and to try to focus. I begin to near the end of my test. I feel pretty confident that I am doing pretty well. I did not expect this feeling. Then, I finish up, look over the test one more time, and I raise my hand so that my test can be collected. Mrs. Peters comes by and takes my test and gently smiles at me and pats me on the back. I sit and wait until everyone finishes their tests. Soon, everyone…

Has the question, “ What do other people think of me?” ever crossed your mind before? It has crossed my mind before, which has led me to many questions. In this day and age people know how to handle a computer, I’d like to say I know more than your average bear. Many things are possible with a computer, like watching videos or listening to live streams. Every week or so a group of my friends speak about random topics, this particular week the gang decided to speak about religion. A topic I consider slightly taboo to discuss in large groups, a day I will never forget.…

Then I was like OH NO! In a deep tone. Although, after math class I just went on with my day, forgetting about my grade. After school, I just went to fast pitch practice. Since fast pitch practice was from 2-4 I would get home at 4:30. Just then, I got off the bus, supposing everything was just fine until I remembered my day, and the first thing I thought of was math. I got my phone out, unlocked it, and opened skyward and while skyward was loading I prayed that my grade didn't go down. After it had finally loaded my body was then still while the wind was moving swiftly. I just saw that I had a C- in…

Imaging that you are required to work on a pre-test which is completely a boundary list of letters and symbols printed on a blank sheet to me, you can only writing without thinking and reading. As the consequence, I got a horrible “FAILED” on the record which is my first grade of English. The “FAILED”, definitely, resulted in the concern of my parents and I started an English tutoring after the exam. What happened in the classes on the day that I got my amazing pre-test report became a nightmare which pestered me for years:…
