In a persons life friendship is a bond of truth and faith. Friendship is a feeling of love and affection of one person for another. Friends are very important part of life. They are there to comfort, to laugh and to make memories with. My friend is very dear to me. We used to see each other early morning before our class starts. The rest of the day passed awesome after meeting her. After three years when my family and I came back to New York, I saw my friend one day on Main street, and I kind of recognized her, but she was looking very different after many years.
My friend Jasbir Kaur and I met in middle school I.S.73. Jasbir was new to this country, and didn’t knew much English. One day in school I was sitting in the auditorium waiting for the class to begin. Her innocent face, I saw that nervousness on her face attending school first time in New York. She came and sat next to me. I said, “Hi” to her, she replied saying, “Hi”. we kept on asking questions to each other and didn’t noticed it was time for us to go to our classes. As days passed we started sharing a lot of personal things with each other and didn’t realized we were best friends. What happened one day was I couldn’t go to school for two days, because my nephew died due to cancer. Jasbir was really worried about me and asked my sister where was I. when I went back to school after two days she said “she was sorry to hear about my nephew.” I felt relieved when she said that during the time of my sorrow.
It was time for our graduation. It was time for us to move on in our life. Even though we were being apart from each other but our hearts were getting closer and closer to each other. We were happy that we were going to same high school, but we didn’t met a lot in high school because of our different schedule. We had to take out special time for our selves. So we met once a week, we shared so many things with each other. Whatever happened in the week we shared with each other...
