What can color symbolism mean in movies? In The Lion, The Witch, And the Wardrobe, many colors are shown in this wonderful movie. In The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, I discovered that Red, Gray, and Black stood out the most. Red has symbolized blood, war, power, and violence. Gray Symbolizes old age, sadness, and solid. Black symbolizes fear, evil, unhappiness, anger, and elegance. These three colors symbolically represent the events, and what happens in this movie. Red, Gray, and Black, are used symbolically in this exceptional movie.

Red symbolizes blood, war, violence, and power. Red symbolically falls in with The Lion, The Witch, And the Wardrobe. In the opening scene of the movie, the bombing shows, that the color red is symbolically, when the World War I was going on Germany bombed Great Britain many times, and many civilians’ lives and soldiers were lost, blood was very much shed. In the scene of the train the children’s moms wears red. This means that she loves, and is passionate for her children and wants to keep them safe. The red lion on Peters shield shows him a sense of war, power, strength, and energy. Peter as the eldest is sworn to battle against the White Witch, and defeat her.

Gray symbolizes solid, old age, and sadness. In the scene where they are sent away Peter wears a gray jacket , which shows maturity, and intelligence. Because he he is the eldest Peter is in charge of taking care of the rest.The statues in the scene were Edmund goes to the Witch's castle the statues are the color gray which show sadness.The statues symbolizes sadness because it shows that how the Narnians have been stuck under the Witch's power, and live in sorrow. Peters amor when he's in battle is a silver gray which represents maturity, security, and intelligence. He's stuck to being the one to fight the Witch and defeat her.

Black is symbolically a dark color which symbolizes fear, evil, unhappiness, anger, power, and elegance. In the scene where they are sent off Edmund wears a black jacket, which shows unhappiness, and anger. Edmund feels like he shouldn't be sent away, and does't like the idea of Peter being in charge.The menetor's black fur shows a sense of power, evil, and fear. The Witch puts him in charge, because she knows that he will cause fear to the others.In the scene were Aslan goes to be killed on the stone table the witch wears a black dress which shows power, elegance, evil, and fear.The Witch thinks that if she kills Aslan that she will for sure be able to defeat the children. And knows that she will continue to be able to control Narnia,she will continue to be evil, and keep bringing sadness to Narnia.

In conclusion Red, Black, and Gray, can symbolize sadness,happiness, but also power. Red, Gray, and Black, are used symbolically in this exceptional movie. Red shows power, war, violence, but all four go trough these elements.Gray, symbolizes solid, old age, and sadness, in scenes of this movies gray shows all of the elements.Black is symbolically a dark color which symbolizes fear,evil,unhappiness,anger,power,and elegance.
Color not only only shows color, but it symbolizes feelings, ideas, etc, which can be interesting. The characters go through so many obstacles, and stages, through out the movie. Colors identify what they've been through, and what they've seen.People will always feel something inside us. If we don't know how to say what we feel, using colors can say it for us.Color can say what we feel and what happens in our life.
