My travel to Cebu
In 2009, I was about to go along with my family are going out on a summer vacation to Cebu. I was very excited to witness my very first journey into someplace I’ve never been to besides the comfort of my own home. Me and my parents were packing up essentials and went out, and since it was five in the morning, I have to prepare my essentials and my folks have to make use of time, the fact that we have to take a three-hour taxi ride from my place to the Airport, then I waited for 30 minutes before the actual flight to Cebu Airlines. Then I rest in the airplane, not minding of what my siblings say, and the flight only took less than an hour until the plane made landfall in Cebu. Cebu is like Metro Manila, only thing is, it’s cleaner than Manila, it was clear that the locals speak a different language than the usual language I’m only familiar with, but the locals here are friendly. As we walk around there were sites that were breath-taking and awesome from the roads of the airport to the trees in the side, I’m guessing that the people who are visiting here want to leave a good and impressive start and boy do they leave a good impression. In my first day in Cebu, we only find hotels here, and I notice a lot of foreigners in the area near SM Cebu, and it’s also my personal experience that I saw with my very own eyes the popularity of the Island of Cebu, and that also answers my question why are there more Hotels here than the local houses I usually see back in Manila. In a way, we find a decent hotel but it’s near in one of the beaches in Cebu, and boy do we have the time of our lives there, I’ve notice a lot of people there, no surprise that it’s on a summer day too. Me and my family tried out their signature Lechon, and it was very tasty, that I took a leg of the baby pig, and bowl’s of rice’s, that and their sugar free Banana chips also taste mightily fresh.
