My Sister Keeper by Jodi Picoult is one of best books that I had read in a while and I will confess that was difficult for me to put the book down and stop reading because I was so anxious to discover what was going to happen next. First of all, in this book you will discover the difficult choices that a family has to make when a child is diagnosed with a serious disease. Secondly, you will learn that you should follow your own heart, and that you never had to let others lead you life. Finally, if it is correct for parents to do whatever it takes to save a child's life, even if that means infringing in the rights of another.
In this book you will discover the difficult choices that a family has to make when a child is diagnosed with a serious disease. Brian Fitzgerald who was a firefighter was a really good parent and good husband but in his home he was having a really bad situation because he has to choose between saving his daughter Kate life or helping Anna his other daughter to emancipate herself even thought Kate will died because of that. Finally he has to deal with Jesse his other child who is rapidly becoming a juvenile delinquent. Sara Fitzgerald was Brian wife, her tenacity, her vigilance and her support during Kate's aggressive cancer treatments give Kate a reason to live. But she was so focused on saving Kate life, that she forgot that she has other children’s. She has to decide between maintain Kate alive, or support Anna in her decision to emancipate herself. Both parents have to decide if is good for Kate to get a new surgery even thought it will make her other daughter Anna sick, or help Anna and let Kate died.
