Gordes

Gordes is a French commune. This wonderful commune is situated in the Vaucluse department. The department is in southeastern France in Provence-Alpers-Côte d'Azur region. The denizens of this wonderful commune are known as the Gordiens. Avignon is the nearest city of this commune. Some other mentionable cities are Apt as well as Cavaillon, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. You can visit the commune through the department road D2. Then you have to chase the departmental road D15. This road is below the Bel-air rock. You will certainly get many fascinating spots where from you can take as much as photo you want. The ideal home of photography is there. This commune is 38 kms east from Avignon. Gordes is 75 kms from the Marseille Provence international airport. From Marseille it takes 87 kms to reach the commune. If you plan to visit the commune then you need to know about the climate for your further convenience. The climate of the city is distinctive. The most mentionable characteristics of the climate of the commune are relatively dry summers and cool, damp winters. It often undergoes windy storms. The most famous wind is called mistral.
