MY PAST
Vera Jean Cooper’s Life and Future
My life is full of different experiences, and challenges. I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. My family is a Catholic middle class family. I remember always having my needs met and a roof over my head, no matter what. I remember going to the circus when we were in Minnesota. I remember going on vacation every other year. I remember going to our Kenai cabin every weekend for many years. I remember going to summer camp.
My primary education was pretty stable. Secondary education was a challenge because my parents thought it would be a good idea to change my place of education. I was kicked out of my parents house when I was eighteen years of age, before my high school education was completed. I continued until my high school education was completed. I then, three months later went to vocational school and graduated six months later in computerized accounting with a 3.66 GPA
My brother and my adopted father were the most important people in my life. My adopted father loved me very much, and taught me that higher education is a good means to find a decent living. My brother helped me deal with my adopted mother who proved to be very challenging to deal with.
