Dhahran first secondary school was a big turn on my life. I transferred from Dhahran Ahliyya Schools a privet school, which I studied there from third grade till ninth grade, to a big public school with hundreds of students, different administration and educational method I faced for the first time. I felt that I was on military school. My past experience on activities and the desire to go over shy personality I had that time, made me participate on most of the school activities. The unforgettable event was the cultural festival, when I recited a poem about Saudi Arabia in front of the princess of the eastern province and I was the only one that she claps for. I had the chance to make new friends. After tenth grade we had to choose science or art literacy. I chose science in order to specialize on math later at university. The last year of the school was the most important because at that time we had to have national exams. I passed these exams with honor and 94%.

My journey to Graduate Work Writing my journey to graduate work is like being on train and passing by different stations, taking something from each one to be remembered. I will go to four stations. The first stop will be on Dhahran first secondary school. The second will be at Dammam Girls Science College. The third station is my work experience in saad girl school, Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz Science and Technology Center (SciTech) and Rahiq Center. The target journey right now is graduate school. I always aim high, that's way I thought that Master of Education at PMU, would made me able to do what I have a passion in doing, which is educating, in more professional way, and Expanding my knowledge in different field of education. Dhahran first secondary school was a big turn on my life. The last year of the school was the most important because at that time we had to have national exams. I passed these exams with honor and 94% .which qualifies me to be accepted on any college. Dammam Girls Science College was the college I enrolled in it. I chose math department but it was really disappointing for me it was a big mess. After the first semester I decided to transform to another department. My parent refuse my decision at the beginning, especially that my grade was one of the highest grade on math at high school, they thought it is early to take such a decision before the finals exams. After exams I start the formal procedures. The college administration inform me that I have to finish the year and succeeds on all general subjects , in order to transform at the next year. I transformed to zoology department. It was hard but interesting. I graduated at 2000/2001. Now it is the station that I have to translate all the knowledge and past experience in to the real world. The first work experience was at Saad National Schools. I started working as a teacher for lower elementary school, without taking any training or experience. The students I taught were different. They were highly intelligent, talented, and active with discipline problems. This was my first challenge .As a first challenge in my career; it was also a motivation for me to learn faster about education theories such as classroom management and how to communicate effectively with kids. After that I started to listen to the kids and they were also great dreamers and I remembered my teachers who were dream keepers but this time I took a decision to help them to gain the keys to make these dreams come true. At this stage I started integrating creative thinking skills with the subjects I taught (science –computer). Teaching kids turned to be a passion to me and with my readings and research I developed more interest in creative thinking. With my adviser's support and leadership character, I became activities director and Cort thinking teacher at the school I worked in. After six years in Saad Girl School, I hope I had the chance to spread the message of learning through fun in that school. I had a second chance, of teaching through fun activities, at Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz Science & Technology Center (SciTech) The center aims basically to ‎educate the public, with special emphasis on youth, let them ‎know more about the principles of science, their application, explanation ‎and simplifying them through presenting them in an interactive and ‎interesting style, depending on education through entertainment / ‎education through experiment and observation.. That was what I looking for. I worked there ‎as a scientific advisor .During this time I enrolled in several training courses to become qualified science communicator and trainer. I recognize the important role of science centers in spreading knowledge and awareness to the public. After a total of ten years of experience, I used all that to establish a small business for after school program cooperating with Rahiq Training Center. The program was (Success Keys) the main goal was to train kids on success skills and help them with home work. I discovered that although all the kids that enrolled in the program were having learning disabilities and weren't receiving any special attention from school. The parents focused on home work help program ignoring the urgent need for intervention and treatment plan shared by school, parents and after school program center. Having kids with learning disabilities at the center made me think again on my project. I rewrote the case study for learning disabilities after school program. I found that either I continue without covering the project cost, or asking for financial support, which the two choices weren’t suitable. So I took a decision to stop my project and working on new plan on how to gain enough

I decided to explore these opportunities as they provided an opportunity to work with children as I have an interest in becoming a teacher. My identified work opportunities will enhance the flourishing of myself as it will teach me to be more patient, communicate better, develop leadership skills and provide me with the chance to learn how to deal with different types of people. Moreover, these work opportunities provides a chance for me to improve public speaking which I struggle with, allow me to create networking, and gain teaching abilities. The gap in these work experiences are that although it provides me with an opportunity to work with children however, it includes working in small groups rather than an entire class of 25-35 students. A method to fill this gap can be that to work as a teacher assistant so it gives a preview of what the environment of teaching several students with one person, the teacher is charge is like.…
