My Friends
True love is hard to find
Especially when your heart is blind
No clock but yet we are still racing time
Years after years of looking and now we actually have what we been trying to find
Tension and emotions take a dive into a big world pool
Trying to save each other but someone always ends up being a fool
Baby I love you....
Like you said you only love me...... Well the exact thing goes for you
We been down this road before and I refuse to turn back
Life has been hard on both of us.... All we need to do is relax
I love you ......

Some people believe, there is a one the one who points, your way to the sun.
A person they believe makes them complete the one who will support, when facing defeat

'You are my angel', my one and only my forever love, so we'll never be lonely.
You've brought to my life, all your love and care
It made me see, when I realized how rare. .
It is to meet your angel, or their lifetime one through you and my children, whose life has begun.

What you've done, you've illuminated my soul it’s you and your love that has made me whole.
The feel of your love, your soft touch and caress we’re tight so close, your heart beats in my chest.

All that we have, always felt missing before though I love you today, tomorrow it will be more.
Our love is life; we are the strongest tree which will always grow forever, like you and me.

You have opened my heart and held it so dear you are my angel and will always keep it near.
You have seen my ups and cared when I was low.
'You are my angel', I just need you to know.

You entered my life, through a ray of sun above
And when we leave, we will leave together in love my love for you, has become my reason to be
I hope one day you'll find, your angel in me.

Bigelow and La Gaipa (1975) observed children’s friendships by asking a number of children to write an essay about their best friend using the approach called “content analysis”. William Corsaro however dictates that in order to study children you must study them in the context of their own peer culture, he used the “ethnographic approach”. In this essay I shall attempt to compare and contrast the approach used by Bigelow and La Gaipa (1975) and that taken by William Corsaro (2006).…

    The Mods

With the end of World War II came the rise of the comfortable middle class. In Britain, middle class families were experiencing an increase in wealth; there was no longer a need to rely on elder children of the family to provide money for survival. This provided a new kind of consumer. Teenagers and young adults were acquiring after school jobs to have extra income, parents could afford to give them bigger allowances, and all the money was theirs to use. With disposable incomes, the end of the war, and the need to rebel from conservative notions and dress, the youth culture of Britain was on the cusp of a modernist revolution. The revolution was known as The Mods. The Mods were identified as “cool, hip, and modern.” Mod boys would wear tailored Italian suits and expensive shoes while the girls embraced androgyny-wearing mini-skirts and short bob haircuts. To understand The Mod culture, a phenomenon that spanned from the late 1950’s to the early to mid 1960’s, it is important to look at its origins, influences, beliefs, motifs, and how it has shaped and influenced the modern culture of today.…

    Circle of Friends

I just watched a wonderful movie called Circle of friends. The movie was based in Ireland in the 1950s. A place in time that was strongly influenced by the church. The movie pictured many ideals that still exist today, and at the same time I can definitely see how women are still in the same situation. There were three main girls that the film revolved around and showed the challenges of how their religion, culture, sexuality, and sex would clash.…

    My Family

At least three times weekly we would travel a few blocks from our small house on G Street to our church on K Street to attend church service. I can still hear the piano music and the voices of the church congregation coming from inside the small old wooden church as we neared the church property. They named it the “Iglesia Bautista Mexicana” or as they say in English, the “Mexican Baptist Church”. It sat quietly surrounded by a Mexican community on K Street in Brawley. It was a small missionary church. On weekends, the pastor would take a small group of members to Mexico and travel to the out of town “ejidos” or villages to have services with the residents there. “Ejidos” are They would load their cars with Bible literature, toys for the children, food, and their musical instruments. The small old church was established around 1920 by the “Western Avenue Baptist Church” association, its mother church. The mother church was big and beautiful; it was much more elegant and a lot bigger that ours and it sat on the west side of town. Huge stained glass windows with images of the Shepherd and his sheep or the Mother and her child adorned its walls. Its finely padded pews matched the rusty rose color of the church carpet. A huge black piano and a handsome brown organ sat at the front of the church. Seasonal flowers decorated the preacher’s podium. The size of the church was breathtaking. It reminded me of the cathedrals in Europe, But, I only got to see this beauty during the church’s two-week Vacation Bible School in July. I never missed going to one of them while I was a kid.…
