My favorite place
Among the places where I have traveled, I especially like Fort Lauderdale very much. It fills me with beautiful memories. It reminds me of the days when I lived in Vietnam where I was born, especially the coconut trees, the hot and humid weather are like Vietnam. Fort Lauderdale has almost all the tropical fruits like jack fruit, durian, and longan. All these fruits are not grown in California.

I usually come to Fort Lauderdale for a vacation. I leave behind all the problems at work. I feel free of the stresses after I spend my days at the beach. Anyone who comes to Fort Lauderdale and does not take a swim really missed out on all the fun. The water is very warm in Fort Lauderdale, unlike the cold, rather freezing water here in California. If I walk a couple of blocks, I see a pier where many people take a walk. The beach is crowded with people. I guess they are tourists like myself. Sometimes I see fisherman catching a big fish and I cannot help but stop and take a look. I love fish and all seafood, especially neck clams, mussels, lobsters, and abalone.

After the plane takes off to fly me back home, I still hear the sound of the waves blasting though rocks. In my mind, I imagine the seagulls dipping under the water to find food. I still feel the small waves creep under my feet and erase the footsteps that I made. These images twirl around in my mind, and I quickly feel

These cities have been around for decades and share similarities as well as differences. West Palm Beach is home of many beaches, however Tallahassee has none. What they do have in common is they both are located in Florida, and both cities have are homed to many tourist.…

Today I'm going to Fort Myers, Myers for a breathtaking week that I'm over the moon excited about. I love going to Florida to see palm trees because they are different trees, only grow where it's warm, also carry coconuts, and are beautiful to look at. Going to the beach always excites me because the hot weather, the rippleless carmel sand, and seeing the magnificent ocean. Finding sea shells are one of the best ways to remember a sunny vacation and some shells are small, medium, large, and can be pretty heavy to hold. I for sure know I'll be coming back next year to a bright, magnificent, and humid…

To me Miami and adventure are synonymous; they’re both exciting and unusual experiences. I can go to the swimming at the beach basically every weekend because of the constant sunshine. Nothing compares to the aroma of the salty ocean or the way your feet feel when you sink your toes into the warm soft golden sand. Miami means I can visit the only Everglades in the world. It’s a rare and beautiful place that is home to thousands of animals, and it’s truly a unique sight that one should at least experience once in their lifetime. Living in Miami means that there is never a dull day because I can always go to a Dolphins or Heat game, see a new performance at the Adrienne Arsht Center, or walk around the Design District. It seems that the necessities in life are in Miami.…

It is now a known fact. My Favorite place for vacation is Nassau, Bahamas. After I have experienced the amazing, unique Bahamian culture. Learning how to move swiftly to the beat with the Junkanoos, to making the perfect remedy with bush medicine and ending with a few lessons of straw weaving. Completing such adventurous task, I was able to relax, with my feet, dug deep in the warm, pink sand enjoying the view of the turquoise shores, while devouring a fresh batch of crispy, conch fritters, sipping on a perfectly mixed Gully Wash. There is no place like home. Nassau, Bahamas is the place to…

Imagine a room, a room where homework essentially did not exist. A room where friends, fun, and hobbies are the only words in the dictionary. The most important place in my house is the basement. My basement is a vacation island. Though there are two rooms in my basement, the main room and the furnace room, the main room is my island getaway. It has a 55 inch, flatscreen, Sony television, a blue pingpong table, a shinny hockey rink, a Bose speaker system, two large blue bean bags embroidered with mine and my brother’s names, and a brown, leather sectional, my favorite place to crash after school.…

To describe Florida in one word would be difficult, but if I had to, it would be alluring! You have the palm trees around you, sand in your toes, blistering Florida sun beaming on your skin, and tropical music playing from the tiki hut bars around you. What more could you ask for? There are more than enough activities to do in Florida to keep anyone coming back. My favorites are: boating, water skiing, surfing, shopping, sightseeing, partying, jet skiing, parasailing, meeting new people and spending time with family and friends. With all this liveliness, how could one ever get bored? The Florida environment is more than beautiful. The smell in the air of palm trees and the sound of the ocean is absolutely awesome. There are so many things to do and look at, like sitting on the porch of a beach condo late at night or taking a walk on the beach; the only sound you hear are the ocean waves brushing up onto the…
