And when my dream goes not true it is nevertheless good speak English in the time from globalization.
The most I did learn outside from the school. I take every chance to speak but it isn’t so much so I write and read lot English. I found this is the best technique to learn, learn by doing.
When you learn English as you do by watching and listening to CNN and reading books on a regular basis you probably will go through the following mental process: In the first phase you will often think that mastering the English language is hard - especially when you hear anchors and reporters on CNN or SkyNews because it seems to you speak way too fast and use too many unknown words. However, if you stick to your decision of watching an English language news channel instead of a German one sooner or later you will realize that learning a language doesn't require special skills or talents. You possess everything you need to learn English. Think about it: What exactly is the difference between you and a native English speaker of English? The answer: Time. If you grew up in an English language environment you simply have a time advantage over others who start being exposed to the English language later on in their lives. However, there are also some advantages of learning English as a second language as opposed to learning it as your mother tongue. We can discuss them here on the forum with other learners of English if you like.

As for Helen Fielding — I think her books provides English language learners with an excellent opportunity to learn English as well as British humour. When you read books like «The Edge of Reason» or «Bridget Jones's Diary» you get an insight into modern British society and you start to see the subtle differences between British people and Americans for example. Nick Hornby is another author who writes brilliantly hilarious dialogues with typical British expressions. Reading those books you can learn English very fast because you have a real desire to actually understand what is going on. This is never the case with conventional course books — the vast majority is rather dull and artificial. Yet, most people stick to such materials for several reasons we can discuss later on.

I think the best way you can learn the foreign language is when you are directly exposed to it: I tried to communicate with native speakers, to listen to the pronunciation of the words and construction of the sentences. However, there is one problem with living in NYC , it is so multicultural that even English as language is culturally shaded. I watched TV paying extra attention to unfamiliar words and expanded my lexicon. I believe my English is improving every day as I discover new things for me, read new book or watch the TV programs. Undoubtedly, English is the most important language in the world. Therefore, Proficient in English will have numerous advantages. fortunately, I have realized the importance of learning English and worked hard since I was a child. However, after 10 years of learning English experience I could hardly communicate in English and definitely unable to write an essay, that realy made me frustrating . then, I realized I must make too many mistakes in learning English. it was translating English into Chinese. I just did not feel that learning English is pleasant enough, so i just did it if i had to. At first , every language has its own rules. They usually have different grammar and using of vocabulary, which means learning English by translating it into chinese will lead to an inevitable defeat. For example, I have worked hard on learning a lot of vocabulary by translating them into Chinese. However, those translation processes were hugely disappointing.at that time I failed to express my idea accurately by those translated vocabulary. As a consequence, good grade and improvement seemed untouchable one day I became to reconglize this problem ,desperately and completely stopped translation . one year later, my English was obviously and generally improved. I attribute my success to the stoping of translation. secondly, I am going to talk about reading and writing. They are undoubtedly the key element to learn English comfortably and effectively. Improving English from only doing grammar exercises is usually inferior to reading and writing practice. Only practices can help us to react to the reality. Therefore reading and writing are crucial to our English. For example, I used to study English phrasal verbs for 12 hours before an English exam ,However, i would not read a book in English for 30 minutes every day. The problem is that a huge one-time effort gives you nothing, while small, everyday activities will give you a lot. In conclusion, think in the English way , learning…

In the first video “World English”, Fadhel Alhashem from Saudi Arabia, made an interesting point when he said that he had tried to learn English when he was home, but it was almost impossible because there was not way that he could have been able to practices the language outside of books. He could not speak, write or communicate with anybody in English back there. Once he moved to the United States he went to school where the only thing he was learning was English, like an academy. There he was able to learn the proper use of the language and its rules. In contrast with him, I had a totally different approach when it came to learn English because unlike him, other stories from the people on both videos, and those of my classmates, I had never received an English education previous to the one I have gotten in the U.S. I am from a small city in Venezuela, before I moved to the US at sixteen I went to a public catholic school for middle school. In the school English was not even part of the curriculum. I was never exposed to the languages as a little girl because the school system back in my city is not as good as other schools like the ones up in the Capital for example. Unlike many students that I have known and talked with about my experiences with English, they all have told me that they had taken English classes when they were younger back in middle school or even back in high school. Unfortunately I never had or took the chance to learn English before I came to the…
