My dream home
My dream home is located in Los Angeles, CA because that’s where I always dreamed of living. My house’s pretty big with high ceiling because I think it looks nice. My husband lives in my home with me. My house is mainly for entertaining. I like to have guest over. As you walk in, you will smell the strawberry sorbet candle from bath and body works. It has a nice sweet fruity scent. There is a grey and white Moroccan rug in front of the entrance door. There is dark wood flooring throughout the house. Next to the door is a dark brown wood coat hanger. On the other side of the door is a black and white Eiffel tower poster. Past the entrance hallway is the living room. The walls are painted beige. Against the wall is a grey sectional couch. It has turquoise accent pillows. The couch is facing the wall where the flat screen TV is. Under the TV is a gas fireplace. In the middle of the room is a turquoise and white chevron rug on the floor. On top of the rug is a round black coffee table with vogue magazines and the strawberry sorbet candle burning. On the right side of the wall is an espresso bookshelf with more vogue magazines. Next to the bookshelf is a boardwalk poster. In the corner of the wall is a floral turquoise vase. The hallway down from the living room is the kitchen. It is very modern. The walls are painted beige just like the living room. The silver fridge is on the right as you walk in. Next to the fridge is the stove and oven. The countertops are granite. On the countertops are a blender, keurig, and a microwave. The cabinets are espresso. There’s an island with a sink. There are 5 black bar stools where the island is. On the island is a vase with fake roses in it and a bowl with real apples. Up the spiral stairs and down the hall is the master bedroom. The walls are painted burgundy. The bed has a modern espresso headboard with a white fluffy comforter and burgundy accent pillows. On each side of the bed has a white

The furniture, carpet, curtains, and tile give of such a retro feeling, like you have entered the Brady Bunchs home. With a huge ball of happiness building up in your stomach, you begin to open all the doors in the cabin, revealing what each room has to offer. The layout of the cabin seems very confusing, you cant open certain doors unless the one next to it is closed, and there are two bathrooms right next to each other. As you continue to explore the wondrous cabin, you come across a small kitchen that has food left behind from pervious visits. The whole feel of the kitchen is not like the one you have at your house, it has a much more friendly feel to it, as if its begging to be used. It blends in with the tone of the rest of the cabin, sort of very used, but stuffed with a gargantuan amount of character. The whole house just has a certain feel to it that welcomes you kick back and relax…

It's got a taste of elegance streaming throughout the room. From the passage of the bedroom, which is filled with 18th century prints of Raphael's decoration, to the soft cornice of the ceiling that is engraved with a light leaf shape and accompanied by a rose. In the middle of the room sits the astounding four-post bed, which is finely detailed with soft shapes and flowers. The whole room is decorated cream and gold, again accentuating the feel of elegance and sophistication. The room is filled with 19th century portraits of the Howard family and their…

It had beautiful, old ironwork surrounding the verandah, and dark green paint on the doors (Campbell). We toured the house jumping at every random sound because we were afraid of ghosts. The décor of the home was exquisitely decorated in the time period of the house (Campbell). When we finished our self-guided tour we walked out to stand on the verandah and admire the view. It was dark outside and nobody was in the home so we decided to spend the night here. We found two beds and quickly fell asleep.…

When you walk into my room, on the left wall there is a white dresser that has 6 rectangular drawers, and above that is a crummy and dirty mirror (its old). On the dresser, there will be a tall Big Bird Funko Pop, and there are most likely to be fancy earrings on top of it. Next to that will be a small stack of designed notebooks and a variety of books with a bigger Cannon camera. Depending on the day there will be a tall and slim water bottle or a stout, white defuser and an essential oil next to it. Following the dresser, still on the left wall, is a worn out TV tray. On that, there is a Harley Quinn Funko Pop, an empty box of tissues, my gross iPad charger, along with my iPad, and my phone charger. A little above the TV tray is a large…

There is a narrow window a the left. Through its leaded panes the morning sunlight streams> A candle still burns near the bed, which is at the right. A chest, a chair, and a small table are the other furnishings. At the back a cdoor opens on the landing of the stairway to the ground floor. The room gives off an air of clean sparseness. The roof rafters are exposed, and the wood colors are raw and unmellowed.…

Behind the couch and out of view is where the kitchen is. It's small and cozy with two stars leading up to it. An island is in the very center, with marble table tops and various kitchen intensional strewn about. The large windows merge into warm cream colored walls that match the red and black aesthetic of the rest of the house. Two black bar stools are placed by the island, their backs to the couch. Three lights hang over the kitchen, almost like the ones in the living room except these are fixed to the…

A large bay window peeked into the fresh lawn outside and right in the middle of it sat an immense lime beanbag. I would slump easily into it, after a never-ending day of impossible math, to read contently. Of course, the book came from one of the two towering walnut bookcases, glimmering reddish in the irregular rays of sunlight. The room nearly flew to the sky giving the image of an ancient roman cathedral with vaulted ceilings. To the left of the beanbag nook, the king, feather-filled bed protruded like a needle perpendicular to the beige wall. The soft mattress was caringly wrapped in teal and lavender floral sheets. Across the room from the bed, and next to the book shelves, a small but neatly-kept L-desk waited to be used when homework time started. My overly used laptop and practically ancient printer sat on the desk, quietly keeping each other company. The last of the four large walls in my rectangular room held the door to the rest of the house in one corner. My matching walnut armoire occupied the middle of this wall, silently watching and looming over me like a protective giant. On the wall on top of the armoire, my much-appreciated flat screen TV took its place like a prince taking his thrown to become king. This meant there was still an enormous space in the middle of the room. What would I put there? A square, orange and fuzzy rug sheathed the naked oak floor. An eclectic couch made of a mosaic sprinkling of quilts sat on top. Yes that would be the finishing touch……

The kitchen is decorated with polished wooden cabinets and a squeaky clean stove that shows your reflection when staring down upon it. There is also a fridge in the back of the kitchen and the trash bin resides next to the fridge. Touring the rest of the apartment there is my bedroom, my sister’s room and the master bedroom. My room suits all my needs; whether it be sleeping, eating, studying, or relaxing. My getaway place is my room. There are two twin beds in my room, and a closet full of shoes and clothes. A 50 inch television sits on top of the only black sleek dresser in the room. My room is usually where I invite all my friends over and throw parties. In my sister’s room there is a formal setup, just a simple king sized bed and a beige headstand where she keeps her television. In the hallway there is a treadmill where users can burn off calories and improve cardio. There are two bathrooms in the apartment, inside them are white walls and brown tiles in the tub. Also a mirror is above the sink to make sure people arrange themselves properly before exiting. The master bedroom hosts a bathroom, closet, and a desktop on top of a glass computer…

    A Gothic Short Story

I haven’t visited for many years but I visited so much as a child I do not need a tour. The ceilings are very high and I can barely see them in the darkness of the night. The walls all have lovely paintings covering them. I can tell the interior design has been thoroughly thought out and the colour scheme is gold, black and red. When I finally make it up the many flights of stairs to the 6th floor of the building where my room is situated I thank the butler for taking care of me and go inside. The first thing I notice is how dark the room is. The only source of light is the moon light shining through the window, which casts a mysterious glow across the room. I quickly go to the fireplace and light it to provide me with not just light but warmth as I am cold from my trek. After successfully lighting the fire I light a candle next to my bed. I then finally have a look around my room. It looks as if they had set this room up for me with months’ notice, but in truth they only found out a week ago they would be taking me in. there is a lovely vanity on one side of the room, a wardrobe full of lovely clothing and many expensive pieces of furniture laid out around the room. Deciding to thoroughly look through my room in the morning I find a gown to wear to bed and go to…

There are a variety of things that catch your eye about this mind blowing place. The first thing you notice is the outside. It’s a light, almost sky blue, shade of blue. Next, is the living room. You notice it is a bright yellow color, almost a shade of white. Finally, you notice the dining room. The walls are a lime green color, and the floor is hard wood. Those are just a few things you can see in my dream house.…

There are four walls, all painted white. On the three of the four walls I have large posters hanging of the ocean and waves. The fourth wall is home to my closet, which holds girls most precious things: her clothes. There is a black metal framed bed on the right side a large flat screen television on the left. Along with my television, my brown oak desk is located on the left wall. It is fairly neat with a few exceptions of a couple of items of clothing scattered about. Sitting on the floor where I feel most comfortable I feel the softness of my carpet. A beige colored carpet with a few mishaps visible here and there. The walls have the feeling of fresh paint, the ceiling a rough touch of the swirls made by an unknown material to me. I smell clean air and perfume. Mostly Chanel Chance, my favorite.…
