My Choice of a Career Path
Greetings from India. I come from the west of India from a place called Gujarat. I come from a close knit family of 5. Since my childhood I have always enjoyed cartoons and video games. Thus it comes as no surprise that I have chosen this as my career path.

I am extremely passionate about animation and visual effects and I have done my Graduation as well as Post graduation in commerce at Mumbai University and also a Professional Diploma in 3 d animation and VFX from Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematic (MAAC). I have also attended a Film making workshop and a short course of Corel Draw and Photoshop at Arena multimedia. I have done my internship at Studio Eeksauraus, Mumbai and have worked on modeling of 3d props for the In house project “Neki and Pooch Pooch” and a logo in a 3d environment for couple of shows and have also worked on the post production of Google Chrome advertisement.

I wish to see myself as a Visual Effects artist in future. At this time, however, I want to further increase my knowledge and skills in the field of Visual Effects and develop a successful career

Learning animation created an interest in me to make something that is unreal and imaginary and turn it into something real. So I started doing research on various courses available in India and Abroad. I then took short courses with the sole intention of pursuing a career in this field. I find that I need to gain exposure in the industry and so I have chosen to study Visual Effects at Sheridan as the course module has impressed me. I would like to be a part of a well reputed institution which will give me advanced knowledge and exposure that I need for the industry and best business practices.

I promise to put in my best efforts if selected for the course of… at Sheridan College, Toronto Canada.
Thanking you in anticipation. I hope to be a part of this prestigious college.
Goodbye & waiting for your

I found my passion for communicating a message visually, artistically, and creatively. Later, I received many requests for custom presentations from instructors and pastors for their class lectures and sermons. This was a valuable time for me as I was able to learn from each of my presentations, by building up my technical skills and understanding the visual communication. This also spurred my desire to learn filmmaking and video production.…

The first task in preparing your speech is to determine what makes the teacher of honor special. Does she (I 'll use the feminine pronoun throughout) remain after school on her own time to help students? Does she go above and beyond the curriculum, racking her brain to try to plan fun and effective ways of imparting knowledge to her students? Does she reach out to the parents of her students, and treat each and every student as a human being, and not just an ID number on her roster?…

Fortunately I was given the opportunity to study abroad where I learned about tools to express the things that had piled up in my mind. Weather it was storyboarding, animating and seeing how my drawings come to life, or creating characters and environments, art became the medium I chose to follow my greatest passion, the possibility to explore. I have discovered that all the places I have seen so far and the experiences that I have been through influence a process of transforming ideas from imagination into reality. This also includes, that I do realize that a career as an artist for the entertainment industry will be hard and demanding and does not only consist of creative expression - and that I am ready to rise to this challenge.…

The question I was frequently asked when I was younger was, “What are you going to be when you grow up?”. From elementary school to early middle school, I would’ve told you I wanted to be a pop start or a vet. As I realize that I can’t sing and there is too much schooling behind being a vet, I’ve decided to become something a little more practical, a video editor. With the growing technological industry, and the various awards I have received in this field, video editing seemed like a good fit for me. Plus, I could always win Oscar without undergoing any acting with this career choice.…
