Martin Luther King Jr. once said “If a man hasn't discovered something that he can die for, he isn't fit to live.” I believe that birth is the beginning, death the end and life a journey. What really matters is not the final destination, it is the path you take and the pit stops you make, that truly define your life. I am Sumona Sengupta and this is my bucket list: 1. Go on an archaeological expedition to Egypt. (I have a love for history and a taste for mystery… and Egypt is the perfect combination of both.) 2. Go bungee jumping and skydiving at least once. (I am a little scared of heights and want to overcome that fear) 3. Drive a lap on an F1 race track in “my own” Ferrari. (I am a F1 enthusiast and the Ferrari will be a bonus) 4. Sponsor two differently abled children. (I want to make a difference in at least one person’s life) 5. Be on the Time Magazine’s cover page.
6. Spot a UFO (Just to prove that there are more of them besides me out there!) 7. Go on a cruise (It has always been one of my “titanic” fantasies) 8. Get my own book published
9. Learn sign language
10. Invent my very own secret language (my childhood dream) 11. Go on a “picnic” to the Amazon (Yes! I am a bit of a daredevil) 12. Take a road trip from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. (I want to see the whole of this beautiful country I call home) 13. Learn to say “NO” without feeling guilty.
14. Go on a date with Shah Rukh Khan (I think this one is self explanatory) 15. Donate my organs (an attempt to let a part of me live on after I am long gone) 16. Start a restaurant of my own. ( I love to cook and feed people this is going to be my retirement goal) 17. Solve a murder (I am highly inspired by Mrs. Marple)
18. Around the world in 80 days (I want to see if I can do it too) 19. Make a house of my own (Independence, security and a sense of achievement) 20. Be a small part of somebody else’s bucket list.
This is by no...
