Music gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything. What is Music? For few it’s a rhythm or a beat or just an activity to linger their time. But for few it’s more than just a rhythm or a tune, music for them is sanity which drives them to a whole new different persuasion of life. Have you ever watched a great movie where music builds up the scene more than the action itself? Have you ever wished that you had a soundtrack for your own life? I do… Music is one of the greatest creations of human kind in the course of history. It is creativity in a pure and undiluted form and format. Music plays a vital role in our daily life. It is a way of expressing our feelings and emotions. Music is a way to escape life, which gives us relief in pain and helps us to reduce the stress of the daily routine. It helps us to calm down; and even excites us in the moment of joy. Moreover, it enriches the mind and gives us self confidence. Music speaks what cannot be expressed, soothes the mind and gives it rest, heals the heart and makes it whole, flows from heaven to the soul. I have learned a great deal about music through my experiences. I have learned of it’s sanity, of it’s holiness. I have learned that music is a very powerful force, not to be trivialized or watered down or manufactured into soul-less, mindless drivel. Beethoven, the greatest musician, in his letter to Ferdinand Ries wrote, “I can write music, thank God, but I can do nothing else on earth”, this tells us the excellent artist’s intense passion and craving for music. Music has universal appeal, least concerned with age, color, region or creed. As a continuous flow, it is everlasting with an infinite power. It resides in our lives from beginning till the last moment of our lives. Our daily routines are entangled in and intertwined with the delicate bonds of music composed by beautiful nature.
