What are the advantages and disadvantages of living alone? How can living alone or living with other people affect your mood or behavior? Is living alone something that is appropriate for you? Why or why not?

The advantages of living alone are that you feel more comfortable being dependent on yourself, no sense of control, and free. You can do whatever and however you want, keep things in the order you want, and no one will judge you. For example, wear anything you want, watch your favorite channel and listen to music as loud as you wish, and no one will complain about it. The disadvantage of living alone is that it gets depressing from time to time. Having a partner or a roommate is really helpful in many situations. One of the examples, if you fall ill there will be someone who will take care of you. Another example is that you will have company when watching TV, cooking food, or dinning together. But, there are different types of people, some prefer living alone and it doesn’t get boring or depressing for them, others like to live with someone and feel comfortable with it.

People who live alone tend to be more angry, lonely and depressed. Therefore, their mood is not always good. People who live with other people most of the times would be happy. This is because there is always someone they can chat with, discuss, and be around with.

Living alone for me is appropriate, for now. I think that is because now is the stage in my life, where I need to live alone for a bit. Learn how to be dependent on myself, be responsible for the actions I do, and feel free.

Living at home can benefit an individual as it helps to promote independence. Promoting independence is important as it means that they are more willing to help themselves if they are able to. Also if they are able to become more independent, they are more likely to become more confident, which means they may be able to do more things for themselves, therefore making them more independent, which therefore benefits the individual as they are in a positive atmosphere. Another reason why living at home can benefit an individual is that they may have more time spent with loved ones and are more likely to get visits from friends and family. This is important as it keeps that sense of “normality”. If the individual was in a care/residential home, they may not get as many visitors as the family/friends may be busy during the visiting hours. Another factor is that the individual is able to maintain a little more control over daily routine, which is important as this leaves the individual feeling cared for and listened to. Also the individuals are surrounded by their own possessions with fond memories which make them feel more secure. Also it makes them feel more relaxed about having care in their own home as they are not being put in an unusual environment.…

To be alone, is being able to learn not only yourself, but to learn to love and appreciate the whole world around you. Like the way when you walk through the forest and the newly fallen leaves smell of fresh rain and the upcoming winter. When you look in the mirror and see that you’re beautiful even with your imperfections of acne and scars. Being alone is okay, it lets you appreciate what’s around and helps you learn to love your imperfetions acnce and scars and the world before you find your love. I saw a video once and great words came from it, “lonerness is okay, it’s okay if nobody believes like you, all experience is unique.”…

    Isolation Definition

Being forced into isolation is a deep dislike by majority of the human race. Many may associate isolation with a punishment or consequence, but it can ultimately serve a greater purpose. Sometimes being surrounded by too many people can plant seeds that will eventually bear problems, issues, and overall negativity. With that being said, it is always refreshing to have time set aside in order to meditate and recuperate. There are plenty of negative factors in isolation, as well as positive. For instance, studying and expecting the outcome to be successful will most likely occur when one is alone and able to focus, whereas one who attempts to focus while viewing a television or listening to music cannot and should not expect positive results. It is easy to predict how one will react while isolated until the situation becomes a personal reality. If I was stranded on an island, figuratively…

In today’s society, it is a known belief that unmarried, unattached people tend to be more likely to succumb to depression and many of the other unfortunate pitfalls of life. Some of the other common sense beliefs include: single people don’t get out much, single people are lonely; or my personal favorite, if you are single, you are always looking for a mate; but is there any truth to any of these beliefs? I am personally acquainted with many people who live alone and these assumptions are baseless, maybe even bordering…

The mean value of satisfaction for those who is not alone is about 7.8055 meanwhile the figure for those who live alone is 7.32584. There is a big gap between these two data, which implies that “ALONE” have a significant impact on people life satisfaction. Additionally, sample variance for alone is much higher than for not alone, which implies other variables affect people who live alone severely and affect people not alone a little. I assume “ALONE” affects “LIFESAT” vitally, since people feel happier when they are accompanied by others but for those who are alone are easy to feel lonely and sad.…

LIVING AT HOME AND LIVING AWAY FROM HOME Nowadays, society develops very fast. A human’s life is enhanced and children grow up faster than the past generations. They can do everything; can learn as soon as they want to be dependent from their parents. For them, life without parents is freedom, paradise. But they don’t know they must face many problems if they live alone and far from their family. So living at home and living away from home have problems that people should understand clearly before they decide what is their next step in their life is. There are advantages and dis advantages for living at home. You have family beside you, and you usually have dinner that your mother cooked with your family. At that time you can share with your family about everything that happened in your day. But when you live alone, you must cook for yourself and enjoy it alone with your turning on TV. You will miss the moment you stayed with your family that living alone doesn’t have. Besides, you live in your house, you have a private room, you stayed there for a long time, and that is very similar for you. Moreover, you don’t have to pay money for rent. On the other hand, you must pay rent, and pay other bills every month if you live away from your family. You have to balance everything by yourself. Living away from home gives you more freedom, you can stay up late, wake up late, maybe have breakfast at 2 P.M or later. But that makes you lazy if you don’t know how to control it. The result is you have less time to study. At home, your parents control your time and you have less freedom, but you don’t have to do all the housework, so you have more time to study. Another important problem is when you are sick. At home, your mother is the person who takes care of you, cooks for you and gives you medicine on time. In contrast, you are alone, you must cook for yourself when you are very tired, remember to take medicine on time while you only want to sleep. That feeling makes you…

    Michael Pintard

Michael C. Pintard distinctively writes his poems in an interpretive style. His style affects his readers by allowing them to contemplate on the true reason and meaning of the words, phrases and or expressions used in his poems. An example of his interpretive style is seen in one of his poems titled ¨Steel Boot Action Whup¨! , where as he uses his poetry skills and diction to generate phrases and made up vocabulary to emphasize his point on the matter. The tone detected in the poem ¨Steel Boot Action Whup¨! is an irated tone because the overview of the poem is that Michael Pintard is in an unhappy mood and wants to take physical action against whomever he sees a problem with. For example in lines 6 through 10 it is determined that he want to seek revenge on rapists who caused harm to others by kicking them in both of their heads. The action of kicking someone is repeated throughout the poem also to emphasize the title of the poem that relates to a steel boot that is a type of footwear. The irated tone of the poem creates a tense mood for the readers because Michael Pintard bluntly expresses his idea of taking physical actions against people or type of people mentioned in the poem. The way the sentences are structured in the poem also gives us an idea that Michael Pintard likes to emphasize his trains of thought, that can be seen in lines 4,5,39 and 40 where he detaches words such as ¨senseless¨ and¨ into¨. Overall, the message of the poem, seeking revenge is well received because of the choice of style and tone Mr. Pintard wrote the poem in and expressed his…
