The movie also tried to drive home the point that how the norms of the society can change and virtually destroy the life of a woman in Iran so quickly. The movie also focuses on the Islamic Revolution whose importance in the lives of the Iranians can’t be underestimated. Like many Indians, I could relate to the state of a woman, who was not allowed to work, not allowed to finish higher education and was constantly nagged by her husband. Books gave her company. The movie... [continues]
