For example, we cannot decide our gender and choose to born rich or poor before we are born. Therefore, in my opinion, people are born with their own destiny.

Some people see how things happen as destiny, where it is a statistical mathematician's nightmare. The problem is, humans are too unpredictable for there to be this force that has come to be known as destiny. Personal choice clearly overpowers destiny because we can love one person then quickly love someone else instead, and no matter how much destiny tries to control our lives, we can always take the lead.…

    Fast Food, Who to Blame

It is true that the fast food companies were more emphasized on their marketing strategy than our citizens’ health. The “super size” marketing strategy had trained us to think that “oceanic drinks and gargantuan portions are normal” (Browniee, 21). I do agree that fast food companies’ excessive marketing is really profitable for them and they don’t put our health in the first place. But I think it is the people who made the bad choice for their health. The point of the fast food is to save peoples’ meal time when they are in a hurry. It is convenient and cheap but also insures our daily needs of protein, calories, Cholesterols and a bunch of necessary Minerals. It’s not the best source of healthy food but it’s defiantly better than eating a chocolate bar or instant noodle when people are in a hurry.…

There are many healthy choices that an individual can choose from when it comes to eating out. But, most individuals cannot get away from fast food for many reasons. Fast food is inexpensive food, “poor nutrition and lack of education about the lack of nutrition in these sorts of food” (Small). Fast food chains are convenient which is why so many people make fast food their go-to but it is unhealthy and cannot benefit an individual. The amount of fattening ingredients in fast food chains is unbelievable and most things that come from fast food restaurants are high in calories. This is one of the main reasons why fast food restaurants are bad, meals that contain high calories are unhealthy for an individual's health. There have been studies that showed new fast food restaurants in poor areas did not curb obesity or improve diets (Chang). Fast food restaurants have a tremendous impact on those who are obese and correlates with each other making it significant to avoid these fast food chains in order to stay healthy or fit. It is important to stay away from fast food restaurants because the food that many of these restaurants are providing are filled with fat and calories that make it very unhealthy. However a new study found that fast-food consumption is simply a byproduct of a much bigger problem. Just because children who eat more fast food are the most likely to become obese does not prove that calories from fast foods are the blame. A study done by the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) on junk food and nutrition has told us that most of the junk foods contain very high levels of trans fats, salts and sugar – which no doubt leads to severe ill health and diseases like obesity and diabetes. Junk food – all the stuff that most of us love to snack on – has enough trans fats, salt and sugar to lead us to an early onset of diseases in the young. And what’s worse is, neither the companies, nor the government is bothering to tell us what these foods contain. We all know junk food is bad; we still eat it. But do we know how bad it is? Do we ever check what we are eating and whether what that packet of chips has what it claims it has. No we don’t. Honestly, what makes junk food so unhealthy is the high levels of salt, sugar, fats and carbohydrates in…

Fast food as we all know; its tasty, handy, and inexpensive. In our day and age it is extremely easy to maintain an unhealthy diet, as opposed to a healthy one. There are some main factors to why, unhealthy and fast food is cheap and easy to get, second reason is because fast food is located almost everywhere and the advertisements can be very persuading, and last is because people simply do not have enough time to make a home cooked meal. This overall can be avoided and healthy food can be the healthy alternative. But fast food is still the priority for the majority of people when looking for a meal.…

It is a well-known fact that fast food is associated as being unhealthy. Fast foods have more calories than the average home cooked meal and are primarily unhealthy due to their high levels of fat, sodium, and other large quantities of ingredients. However this gives people enough information to convince them to associate fast food with the cause of obesity. I truly believe that one can eat fast food yet still be “thin” and healthy. The cause of obesity depends on one’s diet and lifestyle.…

As I said before, in the U.S. some people are filing suits against fast food companies for causing their obesity and related sickness. It is clear that fast food is not so good for our health. Fast food contains lots of sodium, fat and cholesterol, and these ingredients make us overweight. Therefore, some people think that the fast food companies should be responsible for the negative effects. However, people who decide to eat it or not, are us. Even though some advertisements stimulate our appetite, those advertisements don't say that their fast food is healthy. Moreover, it has been often said that fast food has bad effects for our health, through newspaper, television, and other media. Most people should know these facts. To add to that, as I mentioned before, there are some fast food shops which serve health foods…

    My Destiny

The dictionary definition of destiny is something that is to happen or has happened to a particular person or thing; lot or fortune. My definition of destiny is the results of the seeds you have sewn earlier. By getting a clear understanding of both of these definitions shows that a person’s destiny can be controlled by their own actions. The way that someone responds to another person can affect their own destiny. It is amazing that someone’s destiny can be affected positively and negatively. I am a firm believer in karma and fate; if you help someone they might help you or someone else in return. I was raised being taught to do things for others, not because you expect to receive something back, but because it is the right thing to do. If I make decisions like these, I will positively help mold my destiny. However, if you’re walking in the hallway and you chose to bully someone, this will leave a bad reputation, possibly destroying…
