1. What makes a good parent according to Dr. Tanya Byron? According to Dr, Tanya Byron “one that doesn’t worry about too much about being a good parent” is what makes a good parent.

2. What are some of the common problems that children might have? Some common problems that children might have are behavior issues, sleep problems and eating.

3. Why is play important in the parent-child relationship? Play is important in a parent child relationship because it’s good for bonding, cognitive development, emotional development, and commutation.

4. Do you think you will be a good parent? Why or why not? I think I would be a good parent, because I can let the child make the first choice and then see how it goes and change on how it went.

1. Why did the men say that they were ready for children? The men got married and waited a couple years and they wanted to have a child and start a family.

2. What did the men have to learn as new fathers? The men have to learn how to change the baby, how to take care of the child, to get into different habits.

3. Do you think the fathers enjoy fatherhood more today than in the past? Why or why not? I think fathers enjoy fatherhood more today than in the past because, they know more about taking care of a child.

4. What are some of the difficulties that new fathers (and mothers) face? Some difficulties that a new parent might have have to stop doing some things you like for the child.

1. What are some of the benefits of being “childish”? The benefits of being “childish” is being creative and having bold ideas.

2. Why does Svitak say that adults should listen and learn from kids and not just have kids learning from kids? Do you agree? Why or why not? Svitak says that adults should listen and learn from kids and not just have kids learning from kids I agree because kids have can have good ideas that adults wouldn’t have thought about.

3. Why is trust important in the relationship between kids and adults for learning to take place? Trust is important between kids and adult because, when kids feel comfortable with the adult when they trust the adult they can go to new heights.

4. Do you agree with Svitak that parents and adults should have high expectations for kids? Why? I agree with Svitak that parents and adults should have high expectations for kids because, kids are the future and if they have high expectations the children will do better because they know that someone has faith in them.
