Child Abuse leads to unhealthy relationships

As we all know, it’s not right to abuse a child, child abuse is more than bruises or broken bones. Physical abuse is shocking due to the scars it leaves, not all child abuse is obvious. Ignoring children’s needs, putting them in unsupervised or dangerous situations, especially making a child feel worthless or stupid are also child abuse. As for the result is a serious emotional harm. Only bad parents abuse their children, but not all abusers are intentionally harming their children and it’s not always black and white.   Many have been victims of abuse themselves, and adapt to their way they were raised to their newborn. Children are more likely to repeat the cycle as adults, unconsciously repeating what they experienced as a child. They may turn into alcoholic to numb out the painful feelings or anger. But on the other hand, many survivors of child abuse have a strong motivation to protect their children against what they went through and become excellent parents.

What I see in child abuse is the serious emotional problems and the scars it leaves. I think when people decide to have children, the general idea is to love and cherish them, protect them with your life from all cause. But unfortunately this isn’t always the case. There are parents out there abusing their children whether they are babies or teenagers. People like these are not fit to hold a child. Whether it is physical or metal, abuse is wrong. Parents who abuse children should stop and take the time to get help, because the child will be the one who will suffer in the end. Many children become emotionally unstable because of abuse in the home. Because I believe innocent children should not be victims of child abuse.

One way to put child abuse to a stop is for the parents to get helped. Counselors, educators and other should take the time to help not only the child who is suffering, but the parents as well. There are counselors in schools who... [continues]
