Miracle
Some might say that to live the American dream u have a fancy house, job, cars and family. In reality the American dream can be expressed in a number of ways. Many say that through hard work and dedication these goals of the American dream can be fulfilled. This is shown in [The Great Gatsby], by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Also in the movie “Miracle” where the main Character, Herb Brooks does anything that he could to achieve that ultimate goal of the American dream by showing Change, Determination and believing.

With every goal if u don’t achieve it on your own you’re going to have to change something to put yourself in the right area to fulfill it. This is shown When Coach Herb Brooks talks about changing the USA’s style of play to compete with these other hockey teams to be a much more productive team as he explains in the movie “the only way we can compete with the eastern bloc teams is if were willing to change. Change the way we train, the way we prepare and even change our schedule. I think we need to make it longer, tougher, and much more competitive. We also need to change the way we play the game. My plan is to adopt a new style, a hybrid of the soviet school and the Canadian school a combination that requires the highest level of conditioning, speed, creativity and most of all team chemistry.” Coach Herb Brooks also shows change when he combined players from both college hockey arch-rivals Boston University, Minnesota University and others. So at First it was hard for all players to develop chemistry with one another which lead to fights between players at first. From here Coach Brooks worked his team into the ground forcing them to not hate each other but to put their hatred toward there coach, putting them on common ground. “There was no matching the Europeans in skill. So Brooks emphasized speed, conditioning and discipline. Knowing how luck plays a large role in short tournaments, he wanted a team that could grab whatever opportunities came...
