Minute Maid
The company chosen was Minute Maid. They are produced by The Coca-Cola Company. It is the world’s top marketer of premium fruit juices and drinks. As of now, there are greater than 100 singular flavors and assortments of Minute Maid readily available almost everywhere (The Coca-Cola Company, 2012). Originally, Minute Maid was produced by The Florida Food Corporation. In 1949, the company renamed themselves the Minute Maid Corporation. They adopted the name because of how popular the Orange Juice had become. In 1960, the Minute Maid Corporation was acquired by The Coca-Cola Company. This marked the first venture outside of soft drinks. Coca-Cola introduced the first ready to drink version of Minute Maid in 1973. Until then, Minute Maid was only available in the frozen form. Gradually throughout the years since they have developed many forms of Minute Maid; which has been extremely successful (The Coca-Cola Company, 2012). They are a company dedicated to adding value to and providing the highest level of customer service for their clients. They are a company that meets or exceeds the requests that customers may have. Minute Maid strives to develop a strategic alliance and true sense of partnership with each of their customers (US Vending, 2006). The company has a vision going past year 2020. They want to continue to thrive as a business over the next ten years and beyond. It creates a long-term destination for their business and provides them with a “Roadmap” for winning together with their bottling partners. Their vision serves as the framework for their Roadmap and guides every aspect of their business by describing what they need to accomplish in order to continue achieving sustainable, quality growth (The Coca-Cola Company, 2012).     Dr Pepper was created at Morrison¡¯s Old Corner Drug store in Waco Texas in 1885, making it the oldest soft drink in the United States. It was first created by Charles Alderton, a pharmacist, when he mixed several fruit flavored carbonated beverages. After creating a flavor he liked his boss test-tasted it and decided to serve it at their soda fountain. Popularity grew and soon other soda fountain operators wanted to sell it so Morrison began producing syrup for the drink. Robert Lazenby a beverage chemist and proprietor of The Circle ¡°A¡± Ginger Ale Company tasted the drink and offered to produce the syrup at his bottling plant. In 1904 Lazenby and his son-in-law J.B O¡¯Hara introduced Dr Pepper at the Worlds Fair, giving 20 million people a chance to taste it (Dr Pepper/Seven Up).
