Ethical and Moral Issues in Business
In this essay I will discuss the differences between ethical issues and moral issues as well as clarify the differences between personal ethics and business ethics also provide real-world examples of common ethical problems in business for each of the questions above.
The differences between ethical issues and moral issues may appear to be subjective to many people, but there is a fundamental difference between both issues. Moral issues is defined as personal character, whereas ethical issues are understood as a public system, which those moral issues can be applied. In other words, ethical issues are principles that coincide with codes of conduct that is expected and taught by the individual’s family. Ethical issues exist within national ethics, social network ethics, business ethics, professional work ethics as well as family ethics. Generally people moral principle codes usually do not change. Sometimes the individual’s ethics that he or she practices can be other-dependent.
The expression business ethics mean adherence to a professional code of conduct and illustrate the actions of professional individuals within an organization. This professional code of conduct also applies to the organization and its entirety. Business ethics have been defined as written and unwritten codes of principles and values that preside over the decisions and actions that is made within the business or organization.
