You as a Culturally Diverse Entity












There are many factors that have led to me being a culturally diverse person.   Since a very early age I have spent a very large amount of time traveling around the United States and a few other countries.   These travels have led to me being introduced with several other cultures.   Some seem strange at first but they are all different and exciting.   I look forward to meeting new people and experiencing their cultures and lifestyles.
My parents come from two completely different backgrounds which led to an exciting childhood for me.   My mother is from San Francisco and was raised around people from many different cultures while my father was raised in a small mining town in Arizona.   I am not quite sure how they met but shortly after they got married my father received a job offer in Southern Texas and I was born shortly after they got there.
At first my father worked primarily in Southern Texas.   Shortly after he started we began traveling across the country.   This allowed my sister and I to be introduced to people from different cultures at a very young age.   We may have spent six months in a large culturally diverse city like New York and then moved to a small farm town in the middle of Nebraska for three months.   Not only was all of the traveling exciting but it led us to meet a lot of different people from different backgrounds.
As children my sister and I would spend two months with each of our grandparents every summer.   We would spend two weeks in San Francisco with my mother’s family and two weeks in Arizona with my father’s family.   San Francisco is a large city that is very culturally diverse and has a wide variety of cultural influences throughout the city, while in Arizona we were primarily introduced to the Native American culture....
