Incorporated in February 2006, MSSB Metal Scrap Sdn. Bhd. was a small company just barely starting with a couple of employees and still learning the trade of recycling. Merging of two companies formed together MSSB and now currently operates on a 2.0 acre land in IGB International Industrial Park, Ipoh / Perak. MSSB Metal Scrap’s main activities are dealing with recycling of iron, plastic, PET bottles, non-ferrous metal and also trading of semiconductor machineries. At this present moment, the company employs more than 25 workers both local and foreign employees.
MSSB Metal Scrap Sdn. Bhd. is facing a couple of issues with the employees and this is affecting the job expectation that is required. Among the problems that are being brought up are having difficulties in getting the foreign employee’s work permits and visa being renewed. This leads the employees working in fear and affects the job performance. Other issues are difficulties in getting local employees to work in the recycling industry and also having a conflict between different cultures of the local and foreign employees.
