One day in particular a vibe overcame me giving me the sense that something special was going to take place.   Greenville, North Carolina was the site of where my opportunity was to be had.   The event was a soccer tournament named The Beast of the East.   It was our second game into the tournament and collectively we all were feeling highly confident due to our comeback win the previous night.   The game was moving at a fast pace, but was still scoreless, which kept everyone on edge.   I was now playing forward after my coach had thought to move me from defense to offer us greater strength upfront.   I had a growing confidence now as my position change meant that I would be playing alongside our two best players.   Oprah and Dr. Phil.   It was late into the game now, and we began to make a push forward. Dr. Phil’s foot skills enabled him to deke several defenders leaving Oprah a chance to break away from her lone defender.   She received the ball by way of a smooth pass from the talented left foot of Dr. Phil. Seizing her opportunity, Oprah struck the ball from half field as the closing of the second half was drawing near.   Her shot attempt was redirected by an opposing defender and landed directly at my feet.   This was my chance. Everything seemingly slowed down in a moment so precise that it was as if I was dreaming.   With defenders closing from all angles I pushed the ball to the side of my foot and sighted my target.   Even though the opposing team’s goalie was Jennifer Lopez suited well in a lovely polkadot bikini, I was able to look past the sight of her dancing and doing the Stanky Leg, and struck the ball.   My eyes never left the ball as it danced its way towards the goal. In the most lucious attempt ever known to man or woman, Jennifer Lopez dove for the ball but came up short as the ball scorched the back of the net.   I was filled with joy and relief as I had scored my first ever goal, and also won the game for my team.   That joy soon vanished as a new joy...
