In response to our rapidly growing organization, there has been an increase to the CFO’s current responsibilities. Because of the past size of the company, the role of Human Resource Manager has been assigned to the CFO. Therefore, a proposal for a Human Resource Manager is needed. This job can no longer be handled by one person alone. The company is in need of a highly motivated individual who is a self-starter and a natural born leader. Job Description

The role of the Human Resource Manager will be to provide details on benefits compensation, hiring and recruiting new employees. Human Resource Managers are also held responsible for maintaining confidentiality, selecting individuals for interviews, assisting in determining job readiness, and incorporating company policies and procedures. The Human Resource Manager is also responsible for carrying out disciplinary action when needed. This will not be an entry level position. The desired individual will possess excellent organizational skills and recognized as an asset to our company. The Human Resource Manager is able to recognize the vision of the company and motivate employees to share in making the vision a reality. This individual will serve as bridging a gap between upper management and hourly employees in order to function as a cohesive unit. Job Responsibilities

* Create System Databases to store personnel information
* Maintain and create payroll
* Keep up with employee incentives
* Updates employees on changing policies and procedures
* Plans and coordinates special projects and activities
* Acts as the overseer of the Wellness Committee and their responsibilities * Conducts Sexual Harassment Seminars
* Analyzes data and makes recommendations based on findings * Performs statistical data in relation to employees such as turnover rates, job satisfaction, and recognizing trends * Acts as a liaison between management and employees

* Maintains a professional appearance and mannerisms
* Aids in maintaining a safe and pleasant working environment * Promotes team building and customer service
* Ability to meet deadlines and goals

Job Requirements

* Knowledge base of information systems
* Comfortably navigate through Microsoft Office 2010
* Complete understanding of Employment Laws and staying current with the any changes in the law * Pass company competency examination
* Able to multitask
* Reporting and working closely with the CFO in regards to payroll * Incorporates company policies in a training manual for new hires * Excellent writing and typing skills
* Ability to communicate with employees on sensitive subjects matters in a professional and non-bias manner * Participates in developing goals, recruitment, and staffing * Posts and assists in developing job descriptions

* Conducts exit interviews
* Performs background checks for potential employees
* Oversees random drug testing
* Displays strong leadership skills
* Self-motivated which requires little or no supervision
* Ability to independently handle employee disputes
* Tracks employee attendance
* Monitors employee dress code
* Updates upper and mid-level management on employee morale and relations * Knowledge of workers’ compensation

Knowledge and Skills

* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management
* Knowledge of the HRIS
* Bookkeeping skills
* Possess leadership capabilities
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience
* Organizational skills and project management implementation * Exceptional problem solving skills
