Meltwater group is global Software as a Service (SAAS) company that specializes in disruptive productivity solutions. They develop software at a sensible price since 2001. The Meltwater Group was founded in 2001 and prepared with experience from a two-year computer science research program that’s in cooperation with the Norwegian Computing Center, funded by the Norwegian Science Foundation.

Meltwater is a symbol of renewal and change, it also mean the transformation of ice and snow to crystal clear flowing water. This name represents the company mission and culture. The Meltwater's CEO, Jorn Lyseggen and his business partner introduce a game-changing technology for the traditional press clipping market. During 2001, Meltwater took on the challenge of growing without external funding, focusing on creating a cost-conscious, down-to-earth culture that would be instrumental in making them the unique company.

In order for the employees to accomplish their job, the upper level management needs to have a good communication with the employees so that they could perform their task well and boost the company’s production level.
