Social Media :
It is the terms used to describe the new generation of digital, computerized, or networked information and communication technologies. Examples are internet forums, blogs, wikis, and picture, music and video-sharing.
Examples of social media applications are
Google Groups, Wikipedia, MySpace,
Facebook, youTube, Flickr, and Twitter.
Suwanun and the conflict in Cambodia
The unrest was sparked by a Jan 18 report in the local
Rasmei Angkor newspaper quoting Thai actress
Suwanan Kongying as saying in a recent Thai television interview that she would only ever accept an invitation to perform in Cambodia if the temple of
Angkor Wat in northern Cambodia is returned to
Thailand.
The newspaper also quoted her as saying, "I hate Cambodians because
Cambodians stole my Angkor Wat. If I will be reincarnated in next life, I prefer to be a dog rather than to be a Cambodian national."
Although the actress denied Tuesday ever having made such remarks, the protesters demanded an apology from her.
