First part of a marketing plan for McDonald. The mission statement is a very valuable thing along with everything else that this there.

SECTION I. THE BUSINESS

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Headquartered in Oak Brook, IL, McDonalds is one of the largest fast food companies, operating over 34,000 restaurants all over the world. McDonalds was the premier of fast food in the United States. Started off with serving hamburgers, chips, and drinks, the company has grown into a global company. The company now plays a major part in the food industry. One of the brands the McDonalds has is the McCafe, which is a coffee product. This marketing plan is to establish will present a new type of coffee that will add to the list of flavours.

Business Mission

According to the About McDonalds (2012) website the Business Missions Statement for McDonalds is “Our mission is to be our customers' favorite place and way to eat” (p.1)

Company Values

The company values its consumers, and they give back to the community through charities and other events. They also base their values on ethics that hold the company together. The company is ethical in the business world as is stated on the McDonalds website:

“Sound ethics is good business. At McDonald’s, we hold ourselves and conduct our business to high standards of fairness, honesty, and integrity. We are individually accountable and collectively responsible.”
