FORMAT OF MINIPROJECT REPORT

(With general guidelines on how to write a project Report)

(FOR THE STUDENTS OF MBA)

✓ Consult your Guide form time to time, as well as whenever necessary, carry out suggested changes by your guide and then proceed for next step.

✓ Do take signatures of your project guide as required on your progress report sheet.

✓ Do not include in the report the text printed in the BLUE INK, these are simply instructions or guidelines to be used while preparing the report.

✓ Work regularly with commitment and ensure you are following Project Report Activity Completion Schedule and avoid last minutes hustle.

✓ Plagiarism will be taken seriously and may lead to one year suspension and repeat of the project.

SCHEME OF THE PORJECT REPORT

Note : - Three hard embossed copy of project report must be submitted the date prescribed by the institution.

FORMAT OF THE PROJECT REPORT
PAPER : A4 SIZETYPING – TIMES NEW ROMAN
FONT: HEADING 14, BODY – 12.

MARGINS -TOP – 35MM, RIGHT -20MM, LEFT-35 MM, BOTTOM – 20 MM

• Binding of the report

The project should be hard bound with spiral Binding as per the standard format

• Before submission:

Students must sign Declaration and Acknowledgment before putting for the Signature The contents shall follow the preliminary pages and must clearly indicate the serial number, title of the chapter, section, sub-section and page numbers. The report should contain the following.

PRELIMINARY PAGERS

I. Acknowledgements.
II. Executive Summary/ Abstract (Not more than 300 words) III. List of figures (Note that all figures should carry a figure number & title) IV. List of Tables (Note that all Tables should carry a Table number & title) V. List of Charts (Note that all Charts should carry a Chart number & title) VI. List of Graphs (Note that all Graphs should carry a Graph number & title) VII. Nomenclatures & Abbreviations.

CHAPTER SCHEME OF THE PROJECT REPORT

1. Introduction of the Topic, Reason for selecting the topic. 2. Company/Organization Profile.
3. Industry Profile.
4. Scope of work.
5. Objective of project work.
6. Research Methodology.
7. Data Collection & Data Analysis.
8. Observation & Findings.
9. Limitations.
10. Suggestions & Recommendations.
11. Conclusion.
12. Bibliography in the standard international format i.e. Author(s), “Title in Quotes”, Publisher, Edition, Page numbers. 13. Reference in the standard international format.
14. Annexure (Company literature, 1 blank copy and 1 filled in copy of each questionnaire used, maps, sampling frames etc.)

CHAPTER NUMBERING –
Preliminary pages should be numbered as I, II, III, IV … etc. The chapter should be numbered in Arabic numerals ( 1, 2, 3….) etc. Sections and Subsection shall be in decimal notations (1, 1.1, 1.1.1 etc). All chapters shall be in new page. The title of chapter shall be properly entered at the top of the page. Page number (1,2,3…) should be given from the first chapter of the project till the last page of the project i.e. last page of last annexure including separators used (if any). Annexure must carry Roman numbers (I, II, III etc.)

DETAIL OF CHAPTER CONTENT –

COMPANY PROFILE – 3 to 5 pages, about the history of the organization, its founder, promoters, vision, mission, quality policy, products; competitors, important financial/statistical data (sales turnover, market share etc.), organization chart, departments, new projects, award won etc.

SCOPE OF WORK OBJECTIVE OF PROJECT WORK - 1 to 2 pages, about the objective of the project work – classified into primary and secondary objective, a maximum of 45 objectives.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY – The research framework, details about the sources of data, primary and secondary data used for the study, the scope of the study, sample size, sampling technique used, tools of data...
