Kentucky Fried Chicken or well known as KFC is one of famous band in the world, because their recipe and quality of food, in the case of study, our group had chosen Kentucky fried chicken to gain the acknowledgments and making some research about the KFC itself, especially KFC in Malaysia in term of their history and background and also their management system such as quality management, type of services are provided, and other additional services.

Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), pioneered by Colonel Harland Sanders, has grown to become one of the largest quick service food service systems in the world, with more than a billion "finger lickin' good" Kentucky Fried Chicken dinners served annually in more than 80 countries and territories. Through the years he grew up to become a personage the world knows as Colonel Sanders, founder of KFC. In 1955, confident of the quality of his fried chicken, the Colonel devoted himself to developing his chicken franchising business. Less than 10 years later, Sanders had more than 600 KFC franchises in the U.S. and Canada, and in 1964 he sold his interest in the U.S. company for $2 million to a group of investors including John Y. Brown Jr.

Harland Sanders holds a variety of jobs including: farm hand, streetcar conductor, army private in Cuba, blacksmith's helper, railyard fireman, insurance salesman, tire salesman and service station operator for Standard Oil.
In the midst of the depression, Harland Sanders opens his first restaurant in the small front room of a gas station in Corbin, Kentucky. Sanders serves as station operator, chief cook and cashier and names the dining area "Sanders Court & Café."
