Being an International student who grew up in the Middle East and later transferred to a multi-ethnic boarding school, issues of diversity have always played a big role in my life. Growing up, i was constantly surrounded by people that contrasted my culture and upbringing. I see a lot of opportunity in embracing

Being a resident advisor in a co-ed hall on campus, i am priviliged to have the opportunity to interact with a number of residents who hail from backgrounds and cultures different from mine.

Many students expand their view of the world during their time in college. Such growth often results from encounters between students who have lived different cultural, economic, or academic experiences. With your future growth in mind, describe a potential classmate that you believe you could learn from either within or outside a formal classroom environment. My time at A&M has seen me interact with a number of international students like myself as well as Americans around the nation.

But it never struck me how little I knew about Americans, their culture and way of life.
