Mango Tree
MANGO TREE
Once a child threw the stone haphazardly on the ground after eating a mango. It got buried under the ground. As it remained in the soil, a sapping sprouted out of the stone. That was many years ago.
An old man saw the newly sprouted sapping. He knew that it was the one of a mango of good quality. He took it to a garden and cultivated it there. There it grew into a plant and then into a big tree as I am today. My leaves are green and thick.
They protect those who sit under me from the rays of the sun. Peacocks love me in particular and dance around or near me during the rainy season. It is not only for shade that the people love me. It is really my fruit which attracts them. My fruit is known as the king of fruits. It is sweet and delicious with a slight palatably sour tang.
At present, I’m in full bloom. But I fear I may be axed down when I grow old.

Chapter 1 introduces the legendary “Apple Tree Man”, John Chapman, who introduced the species to several locations in Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. The book recounts the basic natural history of the apple and also explains apple’s importance in human civilization. An apple’s taste of sweetness is a noble quality and it symbolizes satisfaction of human desire. Chapter 1 was filled with Chapman’s story of his journey – how he planted thousands of apple trees across wild range of orchards and ultimately sold them cheaper than other apple cultivars. The author praises John’s original way of planting seeds, going from place to place and reminding us that nature has its own way. “By reverting to wild ways-to sexual reproduction, that is, and going to…

When the hands of Time began to move, there was nothing to count the seconds as they passed, save a single oak seed. The oak seed sprouted, and as the shell broke open, a tremendous tree sprang forth. Among the many branches was a single flower bud. When the flower opened, nestled in the center of the petals was the Earth. The Earth ripened and fell from the tree, suspended in the heavens as it is…

    Occam's Razor

Occam’s Razor is the basis of my “why” theory. These items are not tools, and not necessarily ritual items, and definitely not natural fractures. The bottoms of the stones were intentionally manipulated as-well allowing the stone to sit accordingly, perfectly displaying the intended image in a clear viewing manner. This suggests that while these people were mining the copper (which they seemed to have mastered by scoring and pecking out micro specs of raw metals), they practiced this form of stone art and displayed them simply for the reason of informing others of the claim, who they were, what they looked like, and that this was their spot. Leaving these prehistoric photos certainly points toward the wanted notoriety of…

Concretions, some of which are called turtle stones, have been geological curiosities around the world for centuries. According to Wikipedia, a concretion is a hard, compact mass of matter formed within layers of sedimentary rock such as sandstone, shale, siltstone, and limestone. Concretions form as minerals within rock beds and precipitate in cracks and cavities, or as sediment builds up in layers around a core like a pebble or a shell.…
