To increase the capacity, Alongstay may consider creating some new facilities and upgrading the existing equipment in order to attract potential customers. Constructing a Spa and fitness center is an appropriate situation to attract both business and leisure customers. Alongstay should design a graceful center by famous design firm, professional Spa and Fitness Company. The Spa area should be including sauna, steam, Jacuzzi, massage and treatment facilities. On the other hands, they should purchase some professional fitness machine inside the nearby fitness center and recruiting the fitness trainer is a must. To increase the demand, manager can evaluate the results based on those new facilities, establishing potential customer and setting up the discount packages. Such as, a business man accommodating in hotel with his wife, after a busy day, they could get the discounts price to enjoy the Spa, massage or treatment service together. Also, upgrading the existing facilities is important to keep the demand. Alongstay Hotel only provides the internet service inside the apartment, not included in public area. We suggest they should strengthen the internet service to free Wi-Fi service in all part of hotel area. Thus the guests will receive convenient internet service in the Hotel.

Managing service
The operating concept of Alongstay is providing guests with a “home away from home”. The fully stock in room kitchen is one of the major facilities, which can provide the home feeling to guests. We will recommend the manager to institute the “Chef room service”, the guest may choose the favorite menu and the chef will cook inside the guest apartment.
