It can also means by getting individuals to work as a group and efficiently getting the job done. It can be also define as getting the objectives with and through other people, balancing of effectiveness and efficiency, making the most of the limited resources, coping with today’s changing environment and most important by achieving organization goals. What is a manager roles and skill required? In today’s tough and uncertain economy, a company needs strong manager to lead its staff to achieve the organization goals and managers appear in every organization that wants to succeed. Manager’s jobs are wide ranging and complex. They are more than just leaders - they are planners, coach, decision marker, organizer, problem solvers and cheerleaders, all roll into one. They need to fulfill many roles and have many different responsibilities at each level of management within an organization. They need to administrate and coordinate resources effectively and efficiently to achieve the goals that been set by the organization through and with others effort.
When taking up a management position, Robert L. Katz has found that managers need three important management skills that must been recognize as part of a manager to have an effective management.
