Management and Leadership
Management and leadership are important skills in a company. They make a company to run effectively and provide ways to handle any emergent problem. Goldman Sachs is an American diversified investment company that deals with global investment banking and other financial services prior to the institutional client, securities, and investment management. The company was established in 1869.   It has a Wall Street history as the most profitable securities firm. For instance, the accusations made by senate Panel and Marvell founders against Goldman Sachs. They accused the company of selling poor quality mortgage and forcing the company to sell company shares to overcome a marginal loan. The company management and the leadership helped to overcome the accusations and the financial crises that arose.
Management and leadership have almost the same meaning. The difference lies on how they motivate the people whom they work with. Management of a business involves initiating strategic focus that involves innovative ideals, goals, and technique in the business plan, management, and all necessity requirements and controlling how they are done, and for the accompany to achieve its targeted goal, increase profit, minimize losses, and provide ways to handle them (Batmen & Snell, 2009). On the other hand, leadership is the ability, an art, and the process of growing, motivating, controlling, and taking responsibilities on a group of people to work together   to achieve a targeted goal. Leadership hence is a formal role viewed as the power of personality to dominate a group of people. For instance, Goldman Sachs has its management of assets. The management plays a strategic role in setting the operative financial planning of the company and controlling it for the business to run effectively because of its worldwide business transactions.
