Development of an entirely new "Off Field" range. This was done from initial brand concept through to full design, manufacturing sourcing and delivery of bulk samples. The brand was successfully launched in The U.K, across Europe The U.S.A and Japan. Buyer. Concept Man

Responsible for the development of the original retail format buying and product development of the tops division and the development of in house coordinated brands. This involved all stages of product design and range planning working within a small team of buyers and merchandisers and designers. I was responsible for the transfer of the original Concept Man stores to the River Island format and the subsequent co-ordination of men’s and women’s themes as the River Island format superseded the Chelsea Girl Chain. SELFRIDGES department stores, fashion buyer-menswear 1982-83 Responsible for the purchase of all fashion product in the men’s department .The brief was to introduce fashion into what had formerly been a rather dated menswear department.
