Liberal and Conservative are the two distinct worldviews. The meaning of conservative or liberal could be different in different contexts; social, economic and political. For the liberalism, they believe that the government should take the responsibility to do something to achieve equal opportunity and equality for all the citizens to reduce the social ills and to protect civil liberties and individual and human rights. For the conservative, they believe in personal responsibility. Since the society is fragile, they believe that everyone should take their responsibility to protect ourselves. They also believe that the role of government should be to provide people the freedom necessary to pursue their own goals. They have a strong traditional American value and regional value.
