Project overview
You are a recent college graduate working for a non-profit organization that monitors recycling efforts in major cities in the United States. Your assignment is to prepare a short research paper (275–300 words) giving an overview of the history and current policies in large cities. The requirements are that the paper be presented according to the MLA documentation style and have three references. One of the three references must be from the Web. You prepare a paper that presents an overview of the current issues.

SC_Word2010_C2_L1b_FirstLastName_1.docx (Note: Download your personalized start file from www.cengage.com/sam2010) Instructions
Open the file SC_Word2010_C2_L1b_FirstLastName_1.docx and save the file as SC_Word2010_C2_L1b_FirstLastName_2.docx before you move to the next step. Verify that your name appears in the footer at the bottom of the document. If it does not, please download a new copy of the start file from the SAM Web site. (Note: Do not edit the footer at the bottom of the document.) Modify the Normal style to 12-point Times New Roman font. (Hint: Remember that just changing the font in the document will not modify the Normal style.) Adjust line spacing to double. When your research paper is complete, the entire paper should be double-spaced. Remove space below (after) paragraphs. When your research paper is complete, the entire paper should have 0 pt spacing below (after) paragraphs. Create a right-aligned header that includes the name Recycle Foundation followed by a space, and then the page number. (Hint: Use the Current Position command on the Insert Page Number menu to add a Plain Number page number from the Current Position gallery.) Begin the research paper by typing the name Charles Montez, the organization Recycle Foundation, the date August 20, 2012, and the title Major City Recycling Initiatives, each on a new line as shown in Figure 1. Center the title as shown in Figure 1. FIGURE 1Text to enter at beginning of research paper
