Executable Summary

Entrepreneurship’s definitions has some important and common themes, this paper will look at the definition of Entrepreneurship, two companies that is an example of Entrepreneurship, why they are considered examples of Entrepreneurship and which company illustrate the definition and the principle of Entrepreneurship best and why. This paper first define entrepreneurship, the examples and why they are considered as examples, then explain which best illustrate the definition and principles of entrepreneurship and why? Tesco Plc and Wal-mart Store Inc are the used as examples. .

1.Introduction
Entrepreneurship is the act of being an Entrepreneur, and it is a fact that without a person who is willing to be an Entrepreneur there will be no Entrepreneurship (Mary Coulter, 2007). Behind any Entrepreneurship is a vision driven, focused and innovative leader.

The intention of the paper is to research the 2 examples of an Entrepreneurship, why they are considered an examples and which of out them best illustrate the definitions and the principles of Entrepreneurship and why? This paper has five sections. First, I will define Entrepreneurship, then I will give examples of entrepreneurship, and why they are examples of Entrepreneurship, and which of them illustrate the definitions and the principles of Entrepreneurship and why?

1. What is entrepreneurship?
According to our text book entrepreneurship is defined as “the process whereby an individual or group of individuals uses organised efforts to pursue opportunities to create value and grow by fulfilling wants and needs through innovation and uniqueness, no matter what resources the entrepreneur currently has” (Coulter 2003, p.27). Entrepreneurship can also be defined as indentifying opportunities and pursuing them without regards to the resources currently controlled (Casrud & Brannback, 2007), Entrepreneurship can further be defined as the creative and innovative way of implementing change in an economy by introducing new goods or new method of productions as defined by Joseph Schumpeter (Coulter 2003, p.7)

3.Examples of Entrepreneurship
-Tesco Plc
-Walmart Store Inc.

Tesco as an example of Entrepreneurship:
Tesco Plc started in 1919 as a small grocery stall by John Cohen. He made his first profit of £1 from selling foodstuff he bought for £3 at £4, that give birth to Tesco’s first principle of ‘fast turnover generated by low prices and requiring an expanding supply of items’(Lewis, Trevitt, 2000) (3rd edition. Business) Tesco plc is the largest retailer in the UK and one of the largest in the world. The company was projected as a one-stop-shop by the opening of superstores. They sell everything from a paper clip to home insurance and even have bank- Tesco bank. The company’s sales had grown to over £79billion and profit before tax to £9.1 billion. This simple statistics speaks volume about Tesco. Tesco has operation in 14 countries worldwide including UK, Ireland, USA, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Turkey, India, China, Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea and Japan.
