“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” – Mahatma Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi, a man known well to many nations. Mahatma Gandhi was an Indian politician and religious/ spiritual leader, he was not born like that but he worked hard for it. There are a lot of lessons we can learn from his life, he even left us many reflective quotes. He was born in India and his parent were followers of Hinduism who lead him to this path. Mahatma Gandhi always wanted peace, he was against racism and other unfair acts, and to stop them he would conduct non violent protests. He held these protests when was in South Africa with other Indians. The government then kept him in jail, but then he was released. When Gandhi went back to India he became the face of the Indian independence movement for a struggle from British. Gandhi did so much for India, but he did not only inspire Indians he even inspired people like martin Luther king. His principles inspired many people around the world. Gandhi was a very good many with many supporters. Who knew that even he had enemies? He was assassinated by an Indian extremist because the Indian was not happy with the terms Gandhi had made with Pakistan. Even though Gandhi was assassinated but with what he I feel he is a martyr because he was killed as someone was not happy with the terms he had made with Pakistan. The reason of the terms was peace between them. Whatever he did was for his nation and for the betterment of people. If we had a few more people who thought and worked like Gandhi the world would have been a better place by now!
