during an educational fair in my native Buenos Aires. Back then, having grown up in Argentina, I was eager to gain the kind of international experience that would allow me to develop as an individual and would also kick start an international career. Through the university representatives I learnt about today’s world, aiming at a career in business, law, medicine or otherwise, without an international dimension is simply inconceivable. That is why engaging in a challenging and international environment during your studies is so important. Being part of a multicultural classroom not only exposes you to a host of different ways of thinking and conduct, but it also gives you the tools to profit from and understand such diversity, which is in effect an extra dimension of academic training. Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) understands the requirements our global society puts on students and has therefore positioned itself as a frontrunner among Dutch and indeed European Universities in the development of high quality international degree courses on Bachelor, Master, Post-experience and PhD level. My first contact with EUR was several years ago the ambitious and (back then) newly launched BSc in International Business Administration (IBA). Three key attributes made me choose EUR: a truly international classroom and faculty, a location with a thriving business scene, and a university with a solid academic tradition.
