Macbook Air About
MacBook Air is unbelievably thin and light. But it’s designed to be powerful, capable, durable, and enjoyable to use, with enough battery life to get you through the day. That’s the difference between a notebook that’s simply thin and light and one that’s so much more.
Even at less than an inch thin, MacBook Air sets a pretty high standard — by making flash storage standard. Flash chips are very compact, allowing MacBook Air to be incredibly thin and light. Flash is also solid state, meaning there are no moving parts. Which makes it reliable, durable, and quiet. And it takes up much less space — about 90 percent less, in fact. That creates room for other important things, like a bigger battery. So you have a notebook that weighs almost nothing and runs for hours on a single charge. That’s mobility mastered.
Multi-Touch technology is part of practically every Apple product. It’s the best and most personal way to interact with your devices. And the optimal way to experience Multi-Touch on a notebook is through a trackpad. That’s precisely the case with MacBook Air. The trackpad’s spacious, all-glass surface doesn’t have a button because the whole thing is the button. And with Multi-Touch gestures in OS X Mountain Lion, you can interact with MacBook Air in ways that feel more intuitive and responsive than ever before.
Anyone can try to make a notebook that’s thin and light. Success comes in doing it without cutting corners. That’s why MacBook Air features a full-size keyboard, not a condensed version of what you’re used to. When you type on the MacBook Air, it’s just as comfortable as typing on a desktop keyboard. And the keyboard is backlit, so you can type comfortably even in low-light conditions. A built-in sensor detects changes in the ambient lighting and adjusts the keyboard and display brightness automatically, giving you the perfect illumination in any environment.
If you looked inside MacBook Air, you’d see something remarkable: how much space we devoted

The 13-inch MacBook is the most liked laptop by the experts. It simply has everything most users need and want in design so superb that it’s now a modern icon. It has 12 hours plus battery life. The air keeps its 13-inch screen at just 1,440 by 900 pixels, which is somewhat low-resolution compared to its rivals and especially the 13-inch MacBook Pro. Airs screen probably saves both battery life and cost, and it’s still fantastic. The speakers sound…

One reason a Mac is often chosen over a PC is because of the price difference. Many people that set out to buy a brand new laptop want good quality. Good quality is often misinterpreted for a high price. While high price does not mean good quality, more than likely consumers that invest a decent amount of money into their laptops get what they have paid for. A Macbook generally is priced around $995 to $999. It is often called the $1,000 dollar laptop. Apple recently updated the Macbooks by adding more memory, redesigning the outside, and making it have a larger screen while keeping the price the same and at the $999. Getting an update without upping the price has got many consumers attentions and there is a hope that consumers truly are getting what they pay for.…

I was thirteen years old when I ripped open my Mom’s Macbook Pro. Using a screwdriver, pliers, and a toothpick I disassembled the computer part by part, organizing each piece into different sections, not knowing any of their functions or purposes. I was marveled by each stick of RAM, connected circuit, and processor. As I continued to dive deeper, I soon found the hard drive. A small three by three inch box that could hold hundreds upon thousands of bytes of information. I was awestruck. I was able to hold hundreds of documents, pictures, and songs, all in the palm of my hand. From here I gazed over its sleek black mother board, intrigued as to what all of the golden dots and miniscule black boxes did. My curiosity was sparked, and my Mom’s computer was in ruins. Furthermore, igniting my obsession with the hardware of computers.…

The Mac book Pro will give you more performance than you will know what to do with. If you are looking for a computer that is fast a lightening (literally), then there is no other option I have been having my laptop for about three years now, and it runs just like the first day I got it. Now that is amazing, thanks to Mac’s Intel Core i5 processor! Considering PC’s like to crash on you are run slower than your grandmother walks after the first year of ownership. Its extra long battery life of up to 7.5 hours is excellent, because wants the point of having a portable computer if you have to keep it plugged in all the time. It defeats the purpose and you might as well buy a desktop. The hardware on the Mac is built to last, and if you need a buddy you can rely on, I wouldn’t choose any other option, but this laptop.…

When most people think of computers, they do not visualize the components inside that make up the computer system. Most state-of-the-art systems have the same components as a personal computer to meet the user’s needs. Although state-of-the-art computers offer more memory and storage capabilities, my personal computer offers some of the same components but is less expensive.…

Aesthetic choice plays a big role when modern computing is concerned. People want a machine that looks good. PCs come from different manufacturers and that gives PC users an incredibly wide selection of designs to choose from. There are businesses that are even focused on purely delivering themed PC designs and those may be more attractive than Apple’s one-design-fits-all approach. Mac users will on the other hand argue that there is some class in simplicity. Macs are by default launched in one sleek model that may please many while still maintaining the consistency of the model. Apple fans love that people are able to see a Macbook air and tell that it is a Macbook air.…

General Information MacBook Air is a series of laptop created by Apple Inc. which makes the product distinguished and remarkable due to its ultraportability and thinness and elegant style. It was originally introduced and released in Jan 29, 2008 by Steve Jobs, the previous CEO of Apple Inc. The company typically releases new models for this series annually. The most recent release was in Jun 11, 2012, which has two models, one has an 11’’ screen, and the other gets a 13’’ screen. The series of MacBook Air has been very successful since its inception. Its success is not only reflected in the vast profit it made for Apple, but also in the inspiration it gives to the whole PC manufacturing market to make ultraportable and elegant-style laptop which can also balance performance. Hardware The most important factor which makes the MacBook Air so successful, in my opinion, is the great balance of portability and power of the product. The laptop features a unibody design which makes possible to significantly reduce thickness and weight, and also it integrates with the latest CPU of Intel (3rh generation Core i5 and i7), and SSD (Solid State Drive) to give more power and capability to use. The design is another factor. The machined aluminium casing and backlit keyboard make it look elegant and handsome. This design also delivers inspiration to the PC manufacturer. Many PC manufacturers copied the design and used it to re-design their own laptop, and they call them “Ultrabook”, which is targeted the same consumers and market as the MacBook Air. Software Compared with the hardware, the software is a more distinguished component of the product. MacBook Air, as well as other Mac series, is using the Macintosh system (also called OS X system). Unlike the PC industry where manufacturer buy the system license from Microsoft, which separates the hardware and software, OS X system is solely designed…
