Act 1 scene 3: “If chance will have me king, why, chance may crown me, without my stir” Macbeth was a noble and loyal man to the king and Scotland and had a good ‘reputation’ before he killed the king, however his determination to become the king of Scotland had taken over his thoughts with the help from the witches prophesies and Lady Macbeth.
