Thesis Statement: To inform about Mac OS X as the world’s most advanced operating system.

I. Introduction
A. Apple Inc., a well-known company for electronics.
Apple Inc. (previously known as Apple Computer, Inc.) is an American multinational corporation that designs and markets consumer electronics, computer software, and personal computers. B. It offers its own line of products from hardware to software. 1. The company's best-known hardware products include the Macintosh line of computers, the iPod, the iPhone, the iPad, the Apple TV and the Mac from MacBook, MacBook Air to MacBook Pro. 2. It is also known for software which includes the iTunes media browser; the iLife suite of multimedia and creativity software; the iWork suite of productivity software; Aperture, a professional photography package; Final Cut Studio, a suite of professional audio and film-industry software products; Logic Studio, a suite of music production tools; the Safari internet browser; iOS, a mobile operating system; and most especially the Mac OS X operating system.

II. Body
A. Mac OS X, an operating system by Apple Inc.
1. Mac OS X is the world’s most advanced operating system. 2. The Graphic User Interface (GUI) in Mac which is user friendly. 3. Mac OS X comes with built-in applications (called programs in Windows). a) The following are some of its applications:

1) iLife which includes iPhoto, iMovie and Garage Band. 2) iWork, includes Pages, Numbers and Keynote which is the counterpart of MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint respectively. 3) Safari, a web browser; and

4) iTunes, the counterpart of Windows Media Player. B. The special features of Mac OS X
1. The online store, App Store, is where you could buy or freely download other applications. 2. Mac OS X doesn’t get PC viruses.
3. It is built with compatibility to Windows’ programs.
