Preparation Questions: 1. How do you define creativity? Be prepared to describe an example of creativity from your own life, either in an entrepreneurial venture, a work project, an educational project, or a personal project. 2. What do you see as the key factors in Dubinsky and Hawkins’s success with the Palm Pilot? Was there “a big idea” here? Did they succeed at everything they did along the way? 3. Be prepared to describe an example of “the intersection” which, as Johansson describes it, is an instance of creativity arising from the combination of different cultures, domains, or disciplines. The example can come from your own work experience or your prior readings. In what ways, specifically, did the intersection of different fields lead to the creative idea?
