Human Resources Manager
Parkland Community Manager
6010-45 Ave
Red Deer, AB T4N 3M4
Dear Mr. Griffith:
As a resent successful LPN graduate from NSCC with a keen career interest in disabilities and a sense of adventure, I was excited to see this opportunity posted recently on Career Beacon (Job #4398NWT). While I am a trained in all the relevant areas in practical nursing, it has always been an interest of mine to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly young adults. Persons with disabilities need special individual care from competent and compassionate health care professionals. I believe that my credentials would be an excellent match for the position you are offering. As you will note my enclosed resume, I maintained an 85% average during my diploma studies at Nova Scotia Community College, and had the opportunity to enhance my skills at several different facilities and had a wonderful experience working with outstanding professionals at different levels.

Throughout my studies and clinicals I have demonstrated competence in patient assessments, evaluating data and administering proper medication, I am a trustworthy independent worker and enjoy taking on new and challenging tasks while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

I would be pleased with an opportunity to speak with you in person to further discuss why I feel I can not only fill this position but to become an enthusiastic, competent and trusted part of your nursing team. Thank you for considering my application and look forward to hearing from you.

Yours truly,
