Abstract This essay is about love and hate. It entails the nature of love and peace and also the nature of hate and war. There are examples from the textbook from Julie Sheehan, Andrew Sullivan, and Shirley Jackson. There are also a few of my personal experiences regarding love that turns into hate. It goes into detail about how love and hate are both trivialized. It also explains why it is easier to trivialize one of the two. There’s a brief description on why hate is not a mystery. Also a description on why love is the bigger mystery.
