The definition of love have been changed tough history and continuously in every context. Every times it is used, it is used in different way but there is the comment type that can be applied to every one. We know that there can be multiple types of love such as motherly love, brotherhood love, erotic love, self love, and love for God. And the real love should represent all this types in one person at the same time. According to the research many people seek the same kind of love they are accustomed to, that is, motherly love. One of the greatest love types is a 'mother 's love which most would agree is the most pure love a human being can offer. A Mother 's love is the memorable love in everyone’s life because it happens in one 's childhood during one 's vulnerable years. The depth of a mothers’ love is expressed though their care for their children, the risks they take for them, the sense of responsibility they have towards them throughout their childhood. “The Mother love is that fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible”[1] This quote by Marion Garretty is describing a type of love that one can only get from their mother. Maybe it has to do with the nine months the mother nurtured her child, the fact that the child is made of her own genes, and was attached to her through her umbilical cord. Whatever it may be, many people would agree that a mother 's love is irreplaceable, it 's an unconditional love. A mother 's love is natural other types of love are created artificially. They are artificial because other 's fall in love because they love someone 's character or the way they look. However, a mother 's love is not conditional, it is there no matter what the child looks like or how they act. Mothers will love them anyways, that’s why everyone seeks to find a person that will love them just like mother does.[pic] Now we often times hear about men who want to marry women

    Pieces of April

Love is the emotional investment that pushes people to their limits. This is demonstrated in the film “Pieces of April”, when our protagonist April is pushed to do something for the sake of love, even though she dreaded every moment of it. She tries to prepare a Thanksgiving meal for her and her family with hopes to be reunited after years of negligence. Although she tries to conceal her exhilaration it is clear and obvious that she is eager for her family’s arrival. Her attempt at cooking a meal for her family and going through so much difficulty is not so literal. It represents the notion of how love can push people into doing impetuous things. The deficient love of a girl for her family can make her do so much. The relationship between April and her mother, Joy, resemble the relationship of Tiffany Chan and her mother from the short story "Of Kin and Kind". Both the mother and daughter relationship is very rigid and tense. Tiffany claims that her and her mother may be of the same blood but they are anything but alike, by declaring "We were kin, but less than kind". This quote can also reflect April’s view on her and her mother’s relationship. We all believe that our similarities brings us close and our difference separates us without knowing that the only thing still holding our ties is the love we have for each other. That love is what makes us forget the conflicts and disagreements we may have and reminds us that no matter how different we are, we learn to accept and love each other. Bobby, April’s boyfriend, also illustrates how love can give people unbelievable strength and make them overlook the concept of possible. He claims his mother lifted the car to save his life after they had been in an accident. He carries his belief and shows what a person can accomplish if they carry love within themselves, “When you have love you do things you never thought you could. She had a moment of unbelievable strength because she had love”. The power…

These sage words from “The Trashmen” hint at the fragility of the bird species, as well as emphasizing the necessity of birds in not just our physical lives, but our pop culture. In this excerpt from the book Silent Spring, Rachel Carson racks up her score in the using rhetorical devices game in an attempt to convey her heartfelt message of the bird holocaust of 1959, where the farmers (or basically bird Hitlers), sprayed gas and poison all over the innocent woodland creatures.…

    Love You Forever Analysis

The love that a parent has for their child is an unrestricted love that never wavers. Love You Forever presents the unconditional love that parents are expected to have for their children, despite all the mistakes they may make. In the story, when the boy pulled all the food out of the refrigerator and flushed his mothers watch down the toilet Munsch displays the mothers frustration with “this kid is driving me crazy” (Munsch np). Yet, despite the mothers obvious irritation she continually crawls into the boys room every night to pick him up and rock him back and forth while she sings “ I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living my baby you’ll be” (Munsch np). In many cases this unconditional parental love is the first and most important love a person will ever receive in their lifetime. In the future when…

Everybody feels love at one time or another, be it a love for a family member or a friend. Some people fall in and out of love on a regular basis while others take time to find just the right one. Everyone experiences this differently. Love between two people is distinct and exceptional. Although being in love with someone is easy and free, love is still a powerful emotion that can build and destroy. Since majority of the youth in our society start with their first love and relationship at the age of thirteen, many are also fooled. Many confuse true love with infatuation. Although this is not entirely a bad thing, still many are often caught in sticky situations.(i.e. Pre-marital Sex, Teenage Pregnancy, Heartbreak, Suicide) Objectively, Webster says that the meaning of true love is a sweetheart or a truly loving or loved person. Furthermore more, Webster also defines relationships as an emotional and sexual association between two people. As for me, I believe that true love and relationships are the ones that God continuously give us. In 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 (NIV), it is said that "Love is patient; love is kind. It does not envy; it does not boast; it is not proud. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking; it is not easily angered; it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight on evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects; always trusts; always hopes; always perseveres."…

    Unrequited Love

This certain type of love has been depicted as an unselfish and uncomplaining willingness to accept suffering and humility. Psychiatrist, Eric Berne, considered that '”the man who is loved by a woman is lucky indeed, but the one to be envied is he who loves, however little he gets in return”. Some may see this as a negative, and while it does have negative effects, it also shows such selflessness. A quality many people in our society now lack is compassion, love, and understanding. It is truly a quality that is envied by others. Some may think, “How is it possible to love someone who does not even know you exist?”, well that just goes to show how much they invest in caring for other people no matter what benefits they will receive.…
